After much consultation, conversation & thoughts we have decided the time has come for our very loved old Jimmy (The Doctors Son) to hang up his racing shoes. He is now rising 10 & has been a bloody good horse for us & all his owners. We’ve had so much fun with him on & off the track.

We know he’ll go on & have a great life in a new equestrian venture.

We’d like to thank all the owners & supporters while with us & then those who jumped on for his last prep with Maddy Collins. Hope you enjoyed the ride as much as we did. 🏆🏇🏻🥂🍻

Another great (very busy) day. Touring around Rabaul highlands, visit to volcanic site & paddled in the VERY warm water at the base of the active volcano. Little market selling their wares & lunch near by at a little pub. Quick visit to Japanese WW2 Peace Memorial. It’s been really fascinating seeing the little villages & their people. What a world. 😳

FYI John has made the decision to retire for health reasons so we have chosen to transfer our last 2 horses in work to Maddy Collins Racing.
For those who have followed the career of The Doctors Son (Jimmy) you can do so through Maddy’s page on FB.
We have also transferred our young fella, The Next Step (Frankie) & will look forward to seeing what the prodigy of Daisy Doutes can do. We hope he flies like his mum did.
Thanks to all for the support & interest shown over the years. We can now sit back & enjoy being owners.

First start today for Vancouver Express here at Albury. Race 1, over 1,000m, barrier 6 with Nick Souquet onboard. Good luck to all involved. 🏇🏻

The Doctors Son is racing today in the Wodonga Cup at 4.10 over 1590m with jockey Jason Lyon riding.
He’s drawn the outside barrier so that will be alittle challenging, but the track rating is a good 4 so that’s a definite plus.

The Doctors Son is racing today at Wagga. Race 7 at 5.20pm over 1300m, barrier 3 with Nick Heywood riding. Track is a heavy 9. 🏇🏻

Racing at Wagga today, The Doctors Son. Race 8 at 4.06, barrier 2 with Teighan Worsnop riding.
After some rain overnight it’s been up graded to a heavy 10 but we’re racing anyway. He’s fit & ready. 🏇🏻

So today we nicked off to Bathurst with The Doctors Son & he ran in the Panorama. He ran a fabulous race, jumping well then coming in 4th. Beautiful ride by Teighan Worsnop.

Wayed Zain is by High Chaparel a prolific Stakes winning sire. Sire of So You Think (x2 Cox Plates etc), Monaco Consul (Victorian Derby), Descarado (Caulfield Cup) & many more.
Daisy Doutes is a x4 TAB straight winning mare by Dr Doutes (Redoutes Choice). This is her 2nd foal, her 1st is currently unraced.
