💛🐾 FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART — THANK YOU 🐾💛

To all the truly wonderful people who came along with their beautiful Golden Retrievers to form a Guard of Honour for Ash yesterday, I simply cannot thank you enough.

Seeing all those gorgeous Goldens lined up to farewell a man who loved the breed so dearly was an incredibly emotional and beautiful sight.

Ash was a very special man, and I know he would have been absolutely overwhelmed to see the love and respect shown to him.

I made a promise to Ash that when the time came, he would have a Golden Guard of Honour to send him on his final journey.

Because of each and every one of you, I was able to keep that promise. 💛

You gave your time, brought your beautiful dogs and helped create a farewell that I will carry in my heart forever.

There are moments in life when words simply aren't enough, and this is certainly one of them.

I am so very proud and grateful to be part of such a wonderful community of Golden Retriever lovers.

Thank you for helping me give Ash the beautiful farewell he so richly deserved.

Rest peacefully, Ash. You were surrounded by love, and of course, your beloved Goldens. 🐾🌈💛

🐾 Urban Canines Open Age Classes

As of October 7th we are offering both Novice and Advanced classes.

All new dogs will start in the Novice level until others advised by the trainer.

Looking to train, bond, educate and have fun with your dog? Come join us!

🕒 Class Times for Novice and Advanced Open Age Classes.

📌 Monday Evenings:
Novice Class.....6.15pm – 7.15pm
Advanced Class....7.30pm -8.30pm

📌 Wednesday Morning:
9.30am – 10.30am

📌 Wednesday Evenings:
Novice Class.....6.15pm – 7.15pm
Advanced Class....7.30pm -8.30pm

📌 Saturday Mornings:
9.30am - 10.30am (one class only)

💲 Cost: $15 per class

🐶 Please bring your own dog treats

📄 Current dog vaccination certificate must be shown to a trainer.

📍 Location: Albury Showground
Enter via Fallon Street (next to the Rock Yard)

Now taking expressions of interest for a second Foundation Puppy Course in October.

I am a very fortunate, happy and proud dog trainer.

I get to witness the growth of handlers and their dogs.

Today's class was about lead control as well as vocals and value.

The class took everything on board and as the class came to an end the dogs were walking without a puller in sight.

Pack Leader Dog Psychology & Behavior has awesome educational information and this clip is one as dog owners/ handlers we should learn.

You can learn so much just by sitting and watching dogs especially at a dog park.

I dont frequent dog parks but I learn so much from sitting on the outside looking in.

The Tail tells an important Tale.

Are you friends with everyone.....we forget like humans, dogs should have the the opportunity not to be forced to like every dog or human.

The pressure WE put on our dogs can lead to anxiety, reactivity and aggression.

Ian Dunbar speaks frankly about this and we should learn to be advocates for our dogs and ourselves.
