Everyone wants a dog that’s obsessed with them.

But obsession isn’t love — it’s anxiety.

The dog that can’t settle without you. That follows you room to room. That loses it the moment you leave.

That’s not devotion. That’s a dog that’s never learned to feel safe on its own.

Engagement is different. It’s a dog that checks in with you on a walk. That looks to you when something scary appears. That settles when you settle.

You don’t build that by being constantly available. You build it by becoming interesting. By rewarding check-ins, not demands. By building confidence so your dog doesn’t need you to function — they just choose you.

That’s the foundation of everything I work on.

If your dog can’t switch off without you, drop SESSIONS below and let’s fix it. 🐾

Before you decide your dog is stubborn — consider this: “sit” is a meaningless sound until a dog learns what it signals. So is “come,” “stay,” or “leave it.”

Most training frustration comes from a gap in communication, not a flaw in the dog (or the owner).

That’s the gap private sessions are designed to close. One session in, most clients already feel the difference. DM SESSIONS and I’ll walk you through how it works.

Got a new dog? Save this before you do anything else. 📌

Most behaviour problems we fix in private sessions started in the first 2 weeks at home — before owners even knew anything was going wrong.

Swipe to see the 3 most common mistakes and what to do instead.

The good news: all of these are easy to fix when you catch them early.

📍 Albion Park — private sessions available across the Illawarra and South Coast.

When Hades and I step out, it’s not just about getting exercise. It’s about showing up for each other. Each walk is a conversation without words a chance to grow our bond and face the world as a team. It’s these shared moments, where we both learn and trust, that remind me this is so much more than a walk.
