Vet Nurse Home Visits Coming Soon! 🏡

In the coming weeks, we will be introducing vet nurse home visits for clients in Albany and Denmark. These visits will be on a Tuesday or Thursday, the day determined by the clinic and clients' needs and schedules.

During these visits, one of our wonderful nurses will perform tasks such as:
🪡Post surgery checks and suture removal
💊Medication delivery
💅Nail trims (animal temperament dependent)
💉Administering injections (e.g.,Cartrophen, Cytopoint, Beransa)

Chocolate Delivery 🍫

Did anyone order two baskets of 6-week-old choc and black labradors?? 😍 We love to see all the different ways our clients' litters of puppies arrive at the clinic! These cuties were in today for their first vaccines and microchipping.

If your pet is having a litter of puppies, give us a call to book in with Shey for a general checkover and their vaccinations and microchips. We offer litter vaccinations at a discounted rate.

If you are insured with Petsure or another GapOnly eligible insurance provider, we can lodge the insurance claim for your pet's treatment before you pay, so you only have to pay the "gap" aka what your insurance doesn't cover.

🚨1080 BAITING IN THE AREA 🚨

If your pet ingests bait, seek vet care IMMEDIATELY - signs include vomiting, diarrhoea, seizures, neurotic behaviour, and difficulty breathing.

Western Shield baiting to protect native wildlife from foxes and feral cats is underway in WA’s national parks, forests and conservation areas.

Stay safe by looking out for warning signs and always keep domestic animals out of baited areas.

Species being protected include some of the rarest animals in the world, such as the Gilbert’s potoroo, numbat, western ground parrot, woylie, northern quoll, black-flanked rock wallaby and greater bilby.

🌧 Winter Clinic Hours - Alternate Saturday Opening 🌦

Clients, please be aware that over winter, we will be open on every second Saturday by appointment only. If you wish to make an appointment or pick up medications on a Saturday, please call the clinic to discuss. This scheduling starts this coming Saturday, the 13th of June, when the clinic will be closed.

In the case of an emergency when we are closed, please call 9845 2245 and leave a message. A member of the team will get back to you ASAP.

We Wuv Weeny Winston 🐽

This tiny saddleback piglet is 4 weeks old and just too cute! Winston came in for a checkover as he is a bit smaller than his litter mates (all 2kg of him!), but despite his size he is doing really well!

We probably won't see Winston much more in the clinic as he grows, so we made sure to get all the cuddles we could.
