🌼 Spring is here! 🌷
Most of us love to see the end of the wet winter. 🌧️ When we are out walking our dogs, spring brings extra things to be cautious of. ⚠️
🌾 Grass seeds can stick to our dogs and burrow into their paws, ears, noses, and even their skin. If you're walking in a grassy area, make sure to check your dogs after a walk.
🐍 As the weather warms up, snakes become more active, so keep your eyes peeled if you're walking near long grass or bushland.
🐦 Magpie swooping season is here. Magpies often like to swoop dogs more than us, so if you find yourself in magpie territory, call your dog in and move on out of their area.
🐝 Flowers are blooming, including grass flowers, so keep an eye out that your dog doesn't step on or put a sniffy face on a busy bee.
🐢 Our amazing wildlife is much more active in spring, so make sure not to let your dogs pester any wildlife busy looking for mates, nesting, or rearing young.
