We might be biased but we’re pretty sure the most amazing vet nurses in the world happen to be at AWL! 💙

They are at the heart of our veterinary clinic. From supporting animals before, during and after surgery to providing daily monitoring and expert care to thousands of animals every year, our vet nurses bring skill, experience, love and compassion to everything they do and it doesn’t go unnoticed 🐾

Last week we got the chance to celebrate Vet Nurse Day, sharing morning tea, sweet treats and some special self-care gifts (including very cute animal themed headbands that were a big hit!).

It was just a small thank you for the difference they make every day.

To our vet nurses at AWL and our partner clinics across SA, a big thank you for caring for animals and supporting the people who love them. We’re so grateful for everything you do! 🫶🏻

I’m a young girl with a big body and SO much excitement and love going on in my brain!

They say I’m an Akita Inu, whatever that means? All I know is everyone here calls me cute 💙

I looove staying active and learning new things. It’s so much fun!

I’m only 16 months old, so I’m still learning my manners. But if you give me patience, encouragement and love, I promise to show you just how clever I am.

I’m looking for a home where I’m the only pet, with teenagers rather than little kids. Sometimes I get a bit excited.

I really like my friends at the shelter, but I’m ready to find my own home. I just want to love and be loved. Could it be with you?

5 month old Velcro is happiest and most comfortable when he’s with his mum, Velvet! 🥹

That’s why this beautiful duo need a home where they can stick together (pun intended).

Velvet has a gentle nature and a quiet, sweet personality. Velcro is still growing in confidence but with time, patience and mum by his side, his playful personality is starting to shine.
