Labrador Max was the last walk for the week.
He always loves to play fetch before we head off on our walk and gets a different toy for me to throw each time 😁
We ventured along the path by the Obhan and Max was happy to stop for anyone that wanted to pat him. I had no trouble getting him to pose for a pic 😂🐾

Thursday was "Max" day with Staffy Max and Labrador Max.
Absolutely glorious weather.

Staffy Max and I went to his favourite park where he got to walk the whole time off lead as no-one else was around. Max is so well trained with amazing recall that most of our walks he's off lead. He had a good run and hopefully was ready for a sleep after I dropped him home.💖

Wednesday was Philly's turn to enjoy the sunshine. She tells me which way we'll start our walk each week and then we head off.
She's a brisk walker so getting her to stop long enough to pose for a photo was a challenge, but we got there in the end 😁
On our way home we walked through a park and saw Ari who I used to walk with her brother Arlo. We stopped to say hi and Ari gave me lots of cuddles and licks - while Philly let me know it was time to keep moving 🐕🤣

What beautiful weather we had for our walks this week.
The week started with Alfie and Dexter who also had a visit with "nan and pop" up the road 😁. Alfie is an ageing gent so with his mum's blessing, he visits nan and pop and their fur baby Bella while Dexy has his walk.
Dexy of course gets to have a play with Bella and cuddle with nan and pop before we head home 💕

Latest Misty update
It is with tear filled eyes
(Happy Tears)
That I can advise Misty has found her forever home with a lovely elderly gentleman.
Thankyou to all that offered help, I only met Misty a week ago but she got under my skin and we bonded, I couldn't unfortunately take her.
Big thankyou to SAHARA formerly SA Dog Rescue who where the only ones to offer to help and were paramount in her re homing.
I have messaged you regarding a donation as you definitely deserve it
Many Many thanks and no more tears

Urgent rehome
Misty was found in her home next to her dead owner
She has no where to go. Very well loved and just wants to be someone's full time companion

Lady has been feeding her daily but her time left in home is running out. She is also very lonely
This is the ladies assessment of Misty. She is 7 years old and staffy x

My views on Misty

she had a male owner, I had never met her, I let myself in the front door, no barking nothing just as soon as I opened the door tail wagging and bum wiggle.Just loves any human.

I told her to sit, she did and I gave her a treat, she took it gentle as anything.

I gave her pats all around her mouth still gentle

we had cuddles on the couch, if I got up, she never left my side.

We fed her then when we went to leave, even though she desperately wanted to come with us, I told her to wait and she let us leave.

The next night I brought my dogs harness and took her for a walk, she was brilliant and again on return wouldn't leave my side even when we put her dinner down

( we checked and she had eaten, after we left )

Today Tuesday I put on the harness and put her in the car, no issues, great with car rides. I took her to my daughters who was willing to foster but has 2x Staffs already.

Unfortunately it did not go well, Misty was not the aggressor, she is so timid that its easier for her to be the victim.

I have had to return her to the house home alone.

What I have done so far

Pictures, videos of my interaction with her on approx 7 different face book sites

(have received numerous messages that when Ive asked them to ring me for a meet and greet, no further communication

Googled and contacted numerous re homing / surrender sites

It seems everyone is at capacity

Please can you help and or what can I do next.

She is such a sweetheart

Please share and only message as time is short if you are looking for a perfect companion

Please leave a message about yourself with a contact number

Last week Bella, Sonny and her family moved a bit too far away for me to continue our walks, so we had our last walk, cuddles and of course treats before they left.
I started walking Bella about 4 years ago and she has come a long way in that time. She was "energetic" to say the least when I first met her (she was a young pup lol) but with perseverance, patience and of course treats she blossomed into a pleasure to walk. She's such an intelligent girl and with only a one word command she would stop and focus on me, avoiding distractions of people walking past, kids on bikes and dogs (although we never attempted to pass dogs on the same side of the street 😂).
Last year I started taking her brother Sonny out for walks and he is the most gentlest giant I have met. Such a gorgeous boy who loved a cuddle (and of course treats 😁)
I will miss both these babies very much but I know they'll love their new home and if I'm ever up that way I'll be sure to pop in for some cuddles 💖

Mum Mel gave me a beautiful floral arrangement to say thanks which was so lovely. If you ever need flowers please check out her page "Sparkle & Bloom" as she does an amazing job.

Thanks Mel and Renee for allowing me to spend time with your beautiful fur babies. I will miss them 🥰

🚨 URGENT – FOSTER CARER NEEDED 🚨

🐾 Hi hoomans… my name is Molly 🐾

I’m looking for a kind human who might be able to give me a safe place to stay while I recover.

I’m a sweet girl who really loves people. Being around my humans makes me very happy, and I enjoy being close by and part of what’s going on.

The humans say I’m about 7 years old, but honestly… I think they’ve got that wrong because I still feel much younger!

I’m still quite new here, so the humans are getting to know me and learning all about my personality. Sometimes I can be a little excitable and a bit abrupt, but that’s just because I have lots of feelings and I’m still figuring things out.

When I see other dogs I get very excited, but right now the humans think it would be best if I stayed in a home where I’m the only dog, at least while I recover.

You see… I’ve hurt my leg quite badly, so I need to spend some time resting in a crate so it can heal properly. The rescue can supply the crate, so you don’t have to worry about that part. My job will simply be to rest and recover.

Because I can get a little excitable sometimes, the humans think a home with older children would suit me best right now.

What I really need is a kind person and a quiet place where I can feel safe while I heal. I promise I’ll do my very best to be a good girl while I’m there.

If you think you might have room for me while I recover,

📩 Please PM the page. 🐾

It is with a very sad heart and tears in my eyes that we say goodbye to beautiful Winnie.
We had the joy and pleasure of looking after Winnie on a regular basis for over eight years. She truly became part of our family and we miss her terribly. She had just turned 12 when she crossed rainbow bridge 😥🌈
Winnie loved going for walks every day and would take off at a fast pace - sometimes hard to keep up with her 😀. She was such a snuggle pot, always loving a cuddle from either me or the boys, and would "poke" us if we stopped patting her 😍
During her last visit she was her usual happy little self, running around happily as if nothing could get her down - even though she was doing so on three legs. Winnie sadly had her back leg amputated due to cancer late last year but she was such a little trooper that she didn't let the loss of a leg stop her from going on walks at her usual full on pace.
Our hearts go out to her family as they work together to get through this very sad time.
Winnie will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We love you and miss you dearly Winnie but you are now pain free, running around Rainbow Bridge with our Bonnie.💔
