Meet Frankie! 🐾

This tiny little Italian Greyhound came in for his vaccination and was quite possibly the cutest little patient we’ve had in our hands! 🥹

Frankie was so teeny, he practically fit in the palm of our hands. 🥰

Safe to say, we were all a little bit obsessed! 💚

Congratulations to Natasha! Tash received the award for ‘2026 Nurse Mentor of the Year’. We are incredibly proud of her for this well deserved achievement. She is an integral part of Greencross Caloundra and the team would be lost without her!

Bird flu is making headlines, so Better Homes & Gardens asked Greencross Vets what it means for our pets.

Greencross Vets veterinarian Dr Nina shares practical advice to help pet parents understand the risks and take simple precautions.

“Bird flu can infect all mammals, so dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets can all be infected.”

From avoiding contact with sick or dead wildlife to keeping cats indoors and dogs on a leash around wildlife, a few simple steps can help reduce exposure.

Read Dr Nina’s advice and the full Better Homes & Gardens article at:

The best things really do come in pairs! From matching outfits to matching dental procedures Ace and Zero went through it all together. 🐾🥺

Ziggy came in for his castrate last week! 🐶💙 He was just too cute to resist, so naturally, he spent most of the day getting cuddles from the team! 🥰

🖤 A majestic visitor who never should have needed a trip to the vet.

This beautiful black swan was found with a fishing hook stuck in its mouth - a painful and completely preventable injury caused by discarded fishing gear.

Removing the hook required a general anaesthetic, along with pain relief to keep this feathered patient comfortable while we treated them. 🦢

A reminder to all anglers: please take your fishing line, hooks and tackle home with you or use a designated disposal bin. The Victorian Fisheries Authority advises that old fishing line should be placed in bins, or if there are no bins available, taken home, cut up and disposed of in general waste. Their Seal the Loop program also provides dedicated bins for unwanted fishing line, hooks, netting and rope. (VFA)

Discarded fishing gear can cause entanglement, injury and even death to wildlife. A few extra seconds to dispose of your gear properly can make a huge difference. 💔

🎣 Fish responsibly. Dispose responsibly. Protect our wildlife. A big thanks for the wildlife careers for bringing this amazing swan in and thanks to our team for helping 🫶🏼

Pepsi is in her 🌟 Brave Girl Era 🌟

She was so brave after her desexing procedure recently that she received a hand drawn Bravery Certificate! Here she is pictured with Nurse Caitie having some post surgery cuddles 🥰

🐾✨ Stella’s surgery success! ✨🐾

Sweet 11-year-old Stella recently underwent an emergency cystotomy with us to remove bladder stones. 🩺💗

After her procedure and a little time to recover, Stella is now doing amazingly well so far and almost back to being her happy self! 🥰🐶

We’re so pleased to see this beautiful girl feeling comfortable and healthy again. 💕

At Greencross Vets Seaton, we proudly stand behind the message of Sophie's Legacy: Saving the people who save our animals.

Our team is here because we genuinely love what we do. We celebrate the wins with you, grieve the losses with you, and do everything we can to give every patient the best possible care.

Veterinary medicine is an incredibly rewarding profession, but it can also be one of the most emotionally demanding. That's why kindness matters. A little patience, understanding or even a simple "thank you" can mean more than you realise.

We're proud to support the work Sophie's Legacy is doing to create a kinder, more sustainable future for everyone in the veterinary profession.

Thank you to our wonderful clients for always treating our team with compassion and respect. Together, we can help ensure the people who care for our animals are cared for too. 💜🐾

💥 WELCOME JONATHAN 💥

Please join us in giving a very warm welcome to Dr Jonathan Wysoke, who is officially coming out of retirement to join the team at Greencross Vets Seaton!

Dr Jonathan brings many, many years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery, along with a calm, steady presence that only decades in the field can shape. We’re lucky to have him in practice and sharing his knowledge with our team and clients.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys travelling with his wife and has a keen interest in stone masonry.

He’s already settling in well… and yes, he comes with a strong following. But don’t worry, there’s still room for us too 😉🐶🐱

Welcome to the team, Dr Jonathan! 🩺✨

Little Tilly strutted into the ring like she owned the place and came out with a WIN 🏆🐾✨

We are so proud of our nurse Jess’s gorgeous girl taking home Best Neuter of Breed at the Winter International show! That tail never stopped wagging, even under the spotlight 💫
Champion vibes, tiny paws, big heart 💛🐶

Not every patient that strolls through our doors arrives on four paws 🦎✨

This handsome little legend is Boo, the bearded dragon, who recently had a tail amputation and is recovering beautifully. While waiting for his visit, he decided reception was basically his personal lounge room and happily supervised the team from the front desk 💅🏻

We love caring for all kinds of pets, including exotics like reptiles, birds and pocket pets 💚

Give Boo some love in the comments ⬇️

💛 Today is R U OK? Day 💛

At Greencross Seaton, we know how much our pets support us when times are tough, they listen without judgment, bring comfort, and remind us we’re never truly alone. 🐾

But just like our pets need regular check-ups, so do the people in our lives. A simple “Are you OK?” can make a huge difference.

Take a moment today to check in with a friend, family member, or colleague.

Let’s care for each other, the way we care for our pets. 💛🐶🐱
