Northern Social Walk 🐾🧡

A morning full of happy dogs, good training, plenty of laughs and lots of treats!

From loose lead walking and pass byes to working around distractions, it was such a lovely morning spent doing what we love with some pretty great dogs and their owners. 🥹🐾

Lachi recently joined us for another Board and Train, with this program focusing on working around dog distractions and building confidence around new people 🐾

We used the things Lachi loves most to help make new experiences positive and rewarding. Through play, obedience and controlled exposure, he has been building his ability to stay engaged with his trainer while working around distractions.

Play has also been a great outlet for Lachi, helping him burn energy, have fun and build stronger engagement with his trainer!

Lachi did such a great job throughout his program, and we loved seeing his progress around both dogs and new people 💙

Meet Frankie! 🐾

Frankie is a young, energetic girl who has just joined us for Board and Train with plenty of personality and lots to learn!

Over the course of her stay, we will be working on her lead skills, recall and responsiveness to her name, as well as helping her learn to make better choices when given freedom.

We will also be working on some important household skills, including going to her bed when asked, responding to “out” and swapping things she has picked up that do not belong to her.

Another focus will be helping Frankie feel more comfortable around distractions, including people passing the house and the excitement that comes with mealtimes.

We will also be introducing grooming exercises to help her become more comfortable with having her paws handled and the clippers around her feet.

With plenty of play, engagement, clear communication and consistency, we are looking forward to helping Frankie build some great foundations during her stay! 💙

🎓 Level 2 Basic Obedience Graduation! 🐾

Another group of Level 2 graduates officially wrapped up their training!

This course takes the foundations from Level 1 and adds another layer of challenge, with the dogs working on their skills around distractions, building duration and responding with less reliance on lures.

From emergency drops and recalls to loose lead walking, place, muzzle conditioning and more, this group has worked hard to build reliable skills while strengthening their engagement with their handlers.

A huge congratulations to all of our graduates and their owners. Your consistency and effort throughout the course makes such a difference!

Well done, everyone! 💙

Saturday mornings don’t get much better than this! ☀️

A stunning morning with our regulars, putting in the work on loose lead walking, recall, dog neutrality, chaining tricks together, sit duration and of course having fun while doing it!

What a morning with an awesome group! 🧡🐾

🎓 Level 1 Basic Obedience Graduation! 🐾

A huge congratulations to our latest Level 1 graduates!

Over the course of the program, this group has been building the foundations for clear communication, engagement and everyday obedience. From loose lead walking and place to recalls, markers and duration, they have worked hard to build skills that can be used well beyond the training field.

A big part of success is the work that happens between classes, so a huge well done to all of our owners for putting in the time and helping their dogs succeed!

We have loved watching this group progress and can’t wait to see what they get up to next. 💙

Douglas came to us as a young, energetic boy who absolutely loves to play! 🐾

During his Board and Train, we worked on channelling that energy into training, building his focus around distractions and strengthening his impulse control.

Douglas loves learning and has shown some awesome progress, especially when it comes to controlling his excitement around play. He is also learning to stay more focused around other dogs, which can be a big distraction for this social young guy!

It has been so much fun watching Douglas learn and grow while still getting to be his playful, energetic self 💙

Our newest SuperPups group at Noahs Crossing- Vet is underway!

What a great first session with our newest group of puppies. We spent the session building confidence, introducing new experiences and environments, and starting to develop those important engagement and training foundations.

We are looking forward to watching these little ones grow throughout the program! 💙

🐾 Digger’s Board and Train Journey 🐾

Digger is a sweet young dog who can feel nervous around new people and unfamiliar environments. Before beginning his Board and Train, his owner put a lot of time and thought into preparing him through regular Dayschools, short stays and gradual exposure to new trainers and locations.

This preparation meant Digger was able to begin his Board and Train with some familiar faces, routines and environments already under his belt.

Throughout his program, we’ve continued focusing on building his confidence and trust. For dogs like Digger, progress isn’t about forcing interactions or overwhelming them. It’s about creating positive experiences, allowing them to work at their own pace and helping them feel successful in new situations.

We’ve been working on building trust with his trainers, introducing new environments and experiences, and developing his obedience along the way. As Digger has become more comfortable, we’ve been able to see more of his sweet personality come through.

Confidence building takes time, and every small win matters. From trusting a new trainer to exploring somewhere unfamiliar or choosing to engage in training, each successful experience helps build the foundations for the next.

We’re so proud of the progress Digger has made and can’t wait to see him continue to grow throughout the rest of his Board and Train journey 🐶💛
