Please note our clinic will be CLOSED on Monday, 5th October 2026 due to the public holiday. We’ll be back on Tuesday the 6th of October for normal operations.

In case of emergencies during our closure, please contact SASH Emergency Veterinary Clinic at (08) 8133 5300. They are located at 99 Rundle St, Kent Town SA 5067.‼️

🐦 **Found a baby bird? Pause before you pick it up!**

It may look alone, but its parents are often nearby—watching and feeding from a distance. If the bird is feathered and hopping, it’s probably a fledgling learning to fly. The best help is usually to keep pets and people away and give it space.

**If it’s injured, in immediate danger, or truly featherless and out of its nest, call Fauna Rescue SA on 08 8289 0896.** They’re a licensed wildlife rescue service and can advise you on what to do.

If the bird is in immediate danger where it is, gently move it to a sheltered spot nearby while you call. Please don’t feed it or give it water—this can do more harm than good.

When in doubt, call a wildlife professional before intervening. 💚

Little Lottie strutted into the vet clinic today for her vaccination, but everyone knew she was just there to supervise Dr. Gary and keep an eye on those treats.
