I know to many of you this Festive Season is not the one you were hoping for.
For many of our dear friends this will be the first Christmas without a special loved one. We are thinking of you all. Let's all try to be kinder, and spread more love and joy were we can.

10 perfect fingers, 10 perfect toes. So very proud to introduce our boy Ziggy Luan Pannell. Luan Pronounced Luhan
Means "lion" in Afrikaans as our little man came out roaring. Thank you so very much for everyone's well wishes & appologies for having been so quiet. It's been a rough couple of days but these two zombie mommies are slowly finding a good shuffle pace.
Had our waters broken on Wednesday the 26th just after 9am, got induced just after 12pm and Ziggy arrived at 12:20am on Thursday the 27th. Head circumfrance 34cm Weight 3.370kg Length 50.5cm. I gave her so many stink eyes during labour but could not have done it without my wife's support
I had some significant blood loss of 2.3 liters and Ziggy had some jaundice but we were released from hospital on Saturday night. We are happy to be home, slowly learning but completely in love! A massive thank you to the wonderfull team at Mount Barker Hospital. All you ladies are amazing!!! A special thanks to Dr Julie Lamey and midwives Eloise & Yvonne who were there with us when our bundle of joy arrived
