I had a client ring and book my services for the weekend. She said something that has made me ponder, she said the dogs will be pleased to see me and that they have missed me. I know most of the animals i look after expect me to feed them even if im only visiting, but is that all it is? or do they well and truly like me for me and not because im their source of food?

In complete shock normally come mid September I get a rest until the Christmas rush in December but as of a few minutes ago I'm now completely booked out for October and into Mid November.

Why does everyone always wanna go away at the same time? I have had like 6 enquiries for September all within the last two weeks or so, but I have had it booked for months now. No matter how many times i tell people that they need to book as soon as they know what they're doing people always leave it to the last minute and then act all disappointed because im booked. I wish i could split myself 6 ways but then who says they'd get the level of service that i've built my reputation on. I have and always will taken on clients on a first come first serve basis. That's the priority that people get, there is no priority given to locations. You confirm the booking first it's yours!.

Left one house only to drive 5 hours straight to the next one. Have 'moved in', put the heater on, am about to 'scrounge' something for dinner as I'm 'dog' tired. I just wanna eat and have a nice hot shower, put my pyjamas on and watch house rules.

Time to start the process of packing up to go home once again. Have had an awesome time for the most part. Got to go to a few dog shows and have ample doggie cuddles and kisses. I think I will miss Hunni immensely, I came here thinking she wouldn't like me and instead we have developed a beautiful friendship full of laughter, playfulness and plenty of cuddles. I have been far from bored. Thanks to Adam Fraser and Tracie Edwards for putting up with my grumpy self over the weekend and letting me get PBGV'd for the last time for a while. I really don't want to go home,but i miss my kittehs and the grass will need mowing! Im hoping Heather will grant me visiting rights when im back in the big smoke in September.
