On May 7th the world gained an angel my beautiful friend and former colleague Nat.

Nat and I first met when we both worked as groomers for a well known vet but in different locations it was by chance we crossed paths after Nat had an injury and we started working from the same clinic and soon became close friends this was 14+ years ago.

Over the years we remained close friends, i spend many weekends down at dogs sa watching and supporting Nat as she showed her boxers and was invited to meet every litter she bred including being involved in the caesarian delivery of a litter of her pups when we did work together.

When Nat left to work for awl she invited me down on several occassions to come visit and even encouraged me to become a volunteer in the kitten section, then when she opened her own home salon we often traded advice and touched based about dogs giving each other advice and tips.

When I went on maternity leave I entrusted my clients to Nat and they all had such wonderful things to say about her.

Unfortunately in March Nat told me she was unwell and would be scaling back her work and entrusting me with her clients several of which I've had the honour of grooming.

I went and visited Nat 3 weeks ago and as we always did we spoke about work, we spoke about dogs and we reminisced on the good times 8 days later she passed away.

My beautiful friend, I'm eternally greatful for your friendship, your support , your trust and love over the years

Rest easy Nat.
