Save a Horse Australia and Windamere Horse Haven need our help!

They’re constantly taking in horses that are emaciated, unwell or no longer wanted. Caring for so many horses is expensive, and every bit of support helps.

Here’s how you can help!

🐴 ADELAIDE HORSE OWNERS: Book a photography session with me in November, December or January, and I’ll donate $100 from the $250 session fee to Save a Horse Australia and $100 to Windamere Horse Haven! (SA)

As a thank you, you’ll receive $250 credit towards your artwork order instead of the usual $100 credit. You can get beautiful photos of your horses while helping horses in need! See my website for product and artwork pricing.

A super gorgeous sneak peek for Isis of her and Teddy the 7yo Thoroughbred. 🐴

Isis says "Teddy came to me with no mane, skin and bones, and looking like he had forgotten what it felt like to truly thrive. From day one, though, he has been nothing but golden. He has never put a foot out of line and has the kindest, most genuine nature. Watching him grow into the beautiful, healthy horse he is today has been so incredibly special. He deserves every bit of love, care and happiness in the world, and I feel so lucky that he found his way to me.

My horse has exactly two settings: asleep and **STARVING TO DEATH**. The second he sees anything remotely resembling food, he starts bellowing like he hasn’t been fed his whole life. A feed bucket? Screaming. A hay bale? Screaming. Someone walking past him mixing the buckets? Screaming

He’s ridiculously chatty too, so if you dare take too long getting his dinner ready, you get a full running commentary from the paddocks. Not one polite little neigh either — full dinosaur noises, grunts, bellows and offended groans, just to make sure everyone within a five-kilometre radius knows he is being **criminally neglected**.

The funniest part is that he could literally have hay hanging out of his mouth while yelling at me for more food. Sir… you are currently eating. Please compose yourself." 😂🐴

✨ A stunning sneak peek of Georgia & Django the 11yo Standardbred 🐴

Georgia says "I was having a scroll on Facebook one day and he popped up!
I instantly messaged and had to go see him I didn’t expect to be owning again so soon but super glad I did, I bought him that same day after meeting him.

After a couple months of owning him, I found him with a fractured leg in his paddock!! I was given the option of surgery quoted at 10k or more or to let it heal naturally, meaning regular bandage changes and a long time of stall rest, it was quite possible he wouldn’t be able to be ridden again. I made the tough decision to go with natural healing which he responded to super well, besides a lil lump, he’s back like nothing even happened! I’ve slowly brought him back into light work and i’m so excited to start taking him on trail rides. Very proud of this horse!"

A super gorgeous sneak peek for Sarah of Cardi the 7yo Standardbred 🐴

Sarh says "I first met Cardi at her previous trainers place in Palmer. I rode her/visited her twice before deciding on purchasing her. She was and is an incredibly smart and switched on sensitive horse and I knew she had the qualities of an endurance horse but only time will tell.

Cardi is my second horse ever and completely different to my first heart horse. Shes for starters a mare, green and inexperienced. He was a gelding, experienced and calm. But they both have that spark of an endurance horse. Ive been out of horses for 2 years so it probably wasn’t the smartest decision to get a green horse but the training being groundwork at the moment has gone (with a few hiccups 😅) pretty well and I cant wait to start riding her when I get my saddle I know shes going to be a great horse!" 🥰

A super special sneak peek for David of Joey the 15yo Labrador! 🐕

Joey had his photo session with his dad - David, his younger fur brother Goose and his Human Sister Emmy.

Joey is a quiet, beautiful soul and pottered around at his own pace whilst his younger fur Brother Goose (6yo Lab) ran a muck around the forest, chasing his ball & practicing his search and rescue skills!

Joey has had a great long life with his family and you can truly tell he's been well loved! ❤

A super cute sneak peek for Cindy of Cashew the 6mo Miniature Daschund 🥰

Cindy says "I have wanted a dog for many years, more specifically a dachshund. Like other dachshund owners, my house is now filled with many items that have a sausage dog on it. I met Cashew through a breeder in NSW and instantly fell in love with him. He is the cutest cream bean.

You will often will find him sleeping with his paws facing the ceiling. He loves food and will eat anything and everything. He loves to do paw shakes with me, and he loves a good belly rub. " 🐾

A super cute sneak peek for Sarah & Michelle of Kobe & Jet the 10yo Cavoodle brothers! 🐶

Sarah says "We got the boys from a cavoodle breeder. We decided to get both of them so they could keep each other company when we couldn’t. They would be lost without each other. ❤

They both have such different personalities. Kobe is very cheeky and has a soft spot for all of us.

Jet is a gentle giant who loves to bark at dogs on tv but is scared of flies in real life. 🐾

🥰 A gorgeous sneak peek for Kristina of Pringle the 11yo Border Collie 🐕

Kristina says "I always knew I wanted a dog, and when I had the opportunity of going to meet the breeder, and the 3 generations of dogs I knew it was gonna be perfect.
I met Pringle 3 times before taking him home.

Pringle loves it when it's his birthday or Christmas. He never touches anyone else's wrapped presents, even his own under the Christmas tree, until he is given permission. And then he proceeds to unwrap his presents. To this day his favourite toys are; Hippo, Lion and Dinosaur." 🐾
