A gorgeous home filled with the friendliest bunch of cats and dogs, all ready to welcome me for their drop-in visit. 🐱🐶💕

There’s something so special about walking into a home where the animals already know you and are excited to see you.

🐾 Annie Cat Sitter Diaries 🐾 Another drop-in visit with two very special kitties — and these two are important repeat clients who I absolutely adore visiting! 🐈 🐈‍⬛

There’s something so special about caring for senior cats. They may move a little slower, sleep a little more and have their own special routines, but they still love their familiar faces, gentle pats, quiet company and plenty of attention.

I love my drop-in visits because it’s not just about food, water and litter trays — it’s about making sure your beloved pets feel safe, comfortable, loved and cared for while you’re away.

And when clients come back to me time and time again, it truly means the world. 💕

With the confirmation of the highly pathogenic H5N1 Avian Influenza in wild seabirds in South Australia, RSPCA are encourage pet owners to take sensible precautions to protect their animals and help prevent the spread of disease.

Dogs and cats can potentially come into contact with infected birds or contaminated environments.

🌿🐾 ANNIE CAT SITTER DIARIES – ADELAIDE HILLS EDITION 🐾🌿 This gorgeous friendly boy was very happy to see me and was ready for some attention, pats and plenty of love. 🐱💙

Then it was time to check on two adorable guinea pigs 🐹🐹 — making sure they had everything they needed, were happy and healthy, and of course receiving a few little chats along the way!

And we can’t forget the chickens! 🐔🐔🐔
Fresh food, fresh water and a quick check to make sure everyone was happy and healthy. 🌾💕

There’s something so special about doing drop-in visits in the beautiful Adelaide Hills — even when it’s absolutely FREEZING! ❄️🌿

Whether you have cats, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits, birds or other small animals, I’m happy to pop in while you’re away and give your pets the care, company and attention they deserve. ❤️

We're completely out of **Large and XL waterproof dog coats**, and with winter well and truly here, we're urgently hoping to restock.

For dogs living alongside people experiencing homelessness or sleeping rough, a warm, waterproof coat can make a real difference. When you can't always escape the rain, wind and cold, staying as dry and warm as possible is so important.

If you have a new or good quality Large or XL waterproof dog coat that you no longer need, or would like to purchase one to donate, we'd be incredibly grateful.

Every donated coat will go directly to a dog who needs it most this winter, helping them stay a little warmer while they continue to stand faithfully beside the person who loves them.

🐾 Meet Our Gorgeous House Guest Up For Adoption 🐾

We've been lucky enough to welcome this beautiful young girl into our home while she waits to find her forever family. 💕

She is a friendly, affectionate, desexed young cat with the sweetest personality. She's the perfect companion if you enjoy having a little shadow following you around to see what you're up to! 🥰

Rather than being a lap cat, she's happiest sitting right beside you, keeping you company while you relax, work, or watch TV. It's the perfect balance of affection and independence.

Every cat deserves a loving home, and I know this lovely girl will make someone incredibly happy. ❤️

🐾 Annie Cat Sitter Diaries 🐾 Holiday check-ins for two gorgeous feline friends this week! ❤️

One of my shy little furry clients decided that staying hidden was the safest option while her family was away—which is completely normal. Even if I don't see them, I always make sure fresh food and water are provided, litter trays are cleaned, and I quietly check that everything is just as it should be before leaving.

Her beautiful, friendly companion was much happier to say hello! 🥰 She enjoyed plenty of pats and attention while relaxing in her secure outdoor enclosure, soaking up the fresh air and keeping me company.

Every cat is different, and I always work at their pace. Whether your cat wants cuddles or prefers to watch from a safe hiding place, they receive the same loving care and daily welfare checks until you're home again.

🐾 Kitten Sitter Diaries 🐾 Repeat guests are always so special! I recently had the pleasure of welcoming one of my gorgeous repeat clients back into my home—a friendly, affectionate teenage female kitten who settled in beautifully once again! 🐱💖

It's such a joy to see familiar furry faces return and to watch them feel relaxed and comfortable in their holiday home away from home.

🐾 Cat Kitten Sitter Diaries 🐾 Every cat is different, and that's one of the things I love most about cat sitting! 🐾💕

This week I had the pleasure of caring for three gorgeous shy kitties during my drop-in house visits. While two slowly gained the confidence to peek out for dinner, one decided the best place to spend the visit was tucked safely away in a hiding spot. 🫣🐱

That's perfectly okay! I never force interactions. My priority is making sure every cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home. Fresh food, clean water, litter trays, and a calm, reassuring presence are all part of the service—even if I only get a glimpse of a fluffy tail! ❤️

Recently, I had the joy of caring for two friendly feline friends during my drop-in house visits while their family was away.

These gorgeous cats greeted me at the door each visit, enjoyed plenty of pats, attention, fresh food and water, and of course some quality companionship. It's always rewarding to see cats remain relaxed and comfortable in their own home environment while their family are travelling.
