Today's positive crate exposure session was relocated to our front yard....because who wouldn't want to take advantage of this stunning weather ☀️.

We begin our crate exposure with gentle, positive experiences. A lick mat with a tasty treat is placed inside to help the puppies associate the crate with good things...although apparently it was far too fun to leave inside the crate, and was quickly dragged outside to play with 🤣.

Today's session was a hugely positive one, with all puppies confidently popping in and out, enjoying a treat and playing happily. 🥰 ✔️

Different textures and surfaces formed part of today's new gentle exposure.
The pups had a great time exploring them, with both toes and teeth. 🥰

4 week old cuties! ❤️

Puppies are up and running now. They have transitioned from the whelping box into the 'puppy play' area, where they have more room and get daily introductions to new toys and items to play with.

Today the puppies hit a big milestone..... they had their very first sloppy meal. 🥰.

Its a very messy event, but its always so adorable. ❤️
Watching them start with an inquisitive sniff, then a taste and then tuck in when they realise its delicious, always brings a smile to my face.

Better late than never 🫣.

I finally got photos of these cuties this afternoon. Life got busy, but I got there in the end 🤣.

Introducing our beautiful 'Sweet Treats' litter.

Puppies turned 2 weeks old today and we are sooo close to having eyes open ( a few have already slightly opened 🥰). Several pups are also testing out their wobbly walking legs.

Its sad to say goodbye to the neonatal phase, but the coming weeks will be full of alot of fun and development 😍.
