This post isn’t about being picky or difficult, it’s just me being honest and manifesting the right people to use my energy on. So if you want to make changes and want to learn - let’s go!

I’ve worked with enough dogs and their owners to know the results don’t exclusively come from me, they come from YOU in between sessions. I’m just the one who educates you and how to do it.

The most successful dogs I’ve worked with aren’t the ones with the ‘easier’ problems, they’re the ones who have owners who showed up, did their homework, tried something even if they weren’t sure it would work, and trusted the process!

So if you came here looking for someone to fix your dog while you go about life as usual, I’m not the right trainer for you. But if you’re ready to be part of the process, I’ll back you the whole way!

We spend so much time focused on what our dogs can’t do yet.

Training doesn’t have to be perfect, and it doesn’t need to be 100% every time. Trust me, if it did we would all be failing! Little things done consistently will always beat big sessions done sporadically!

Stop waiting until you have more time, a better setup, or a dog who just ‘gets it’.

Start with what you CAN do, right now, with what you’ve got.

That’s where the progress actually happens!

Never a dull moment with D’Artagnan around now!

All jokes aside, he has come so far since he first started joining us for Doggy Day School! A dog that once wasn’t interested in us is now a top student.

As you can see, he’s very eager to please, even if that means whipping out every trick in the book 😆

He and his mum have been putting in the work at home too, and it’s really paying off!

Swim Squad is BACK and we’ve got our dates for the next few months!

What is Swim Squad? We pick your dog up, take them to the pool, spend an hour swimming and playing with a carefully selected group, then it’s a towel dry and home for the best nap of their week.

🎟️ $129 all inclusive: travel, pool hire, treats, equipment, everything.

Another sold out Cafe Manners Club is in the books and I’m so proud of everyone who joined us!

For those who don’t know, Cafe Manners Club is a small group training session we run here at Adelaide Dog Co HQ. The whole idea is to give your dog real-world practice in a controlled setting. An environment where things are busy enough to be a genuine distraction, but enough focus so that learning can happen.

It’s not JUST about café manners (though that’s obviously the goal). It’s about giving owners a chance to practise for real life, in real life scenarios.

Because knowing what to do at home and being able to do it when your dog is losing their s**t over a labrador across the street are very different things.

We keep numbers for these sessions small on purpose, and it’s always great to see the amount of dedicated owners wanting to join!

No dates locked in for the next one just yet, but keep your eyes peeled on our socials.
