🫁 BETTER BREATHING STARTS WITH RESPONSIBLE BREEDING 🫁

BOAS testing gives breeders valuable information about their dogs’ respiratory health, helping us make informed breeding decisions and work towards healthier generations.

The assessment is straightforward and non-invasive. An approved veterinarian evaluates your dog’s breathing before and after a short exercise test, then assigns a respiratory function grade from 0 to 3.

We are currently looking into rescheduling our BOAS Testing Clinic and would love more people to join us with their beautiful dogs! 🐾

Please be assured that all results will remain completely private between you, the veterinarian and the veterinary nurse. Results will not be shared publicly or with the club.

Testing isn’t about criticising our dogs or our breeds—it’s about understanding them better. Every dog tested provides valuable information and demonstrates a commitment to protecting the health, comfort and future of the breeds we love.

If you would be interested in attending our rescheduled clinic, please let us know. The more expressions of interest we receive, the easier it will be to arrange a new date.

Important Notice – RFG Testing Clinic

Unfortunately, tonight’s RFG Testing Clinic did not go ahead as planned.

Despite our preparations, Dr Chris Girling did not arrive for the clinic, and after numerous attempts to contact him, we have been unable to reach him. We have also made enquiries through other channels in an effort to determine his whereabouts, as our primary concern at this stage is that he is safe and well.

We sincerely apologise to everyone who registered and made the effort to attend tonight’s clinic. We understand many of you travelled and rearranged your schedules, and we share your disappointment.

At this stage, we ask for your patience and understanding while we await further information. Once we know more, we will provide an update and announce a new date for the clinic as soon as possible.
