Perfect for owners wanting to keep their dogs neat between grooms, or those wanting to learn basic maintenance at home in a calm, one-on-one setting.

Great for puppies too, helping them get comfortable with grooming from an early age 🐶

Yes, we’re moving — and yes, Big Paws Little Claws is still very much open for business.
From May, we’ll be working part‑time in Adelaide and expanding into the Mid North and Barossa regions.

If your dog has a double coat, sheds like it’s their full‑time job, or weighs more than your teenager… we’re your people.
Samoyeds, Newfoundlands, St Bernards, Bernese, Shepherds — the bigger the fluff, the happier we are.

We’re a mobile service, and we’ll be taking on new clients in and around Burra, Eudunda, Kapunda, Clare, the Barossa and surrounding areas.
As things currently stand we will not be accepting new clients in Adelaide from April unless on referral.

New chapter, same big paws and even bigger fluff.

Hi everyone,

Just a little update!
I recently had a fall and I’m still quite sore, so I’ll be rescheduling all of this week’s grooms into the coming weeks once I’m feeling up to it.

I don’t want to risk aggravating things and being out for longer, so I appreciate your patience and understanding while I give myself the time to properly recover.

Hi everyone 💛
I’ve absolutely loved being back grooming and seeing your beautiful dogs again. That said, I need to be honest and take care of my body as I continue building my strength back up.

Between the physical demands of grooming and the current hot weather, I’ve realised I need to pace myself a little more. For the short term, I’ll be reducing the number of grooms I do each week and may need to adjust appointments on very hot days.

Doing this means I can be at my physical best — which allows me to groom safely, calmly, and to the high standard your dogs deserve. Their comfort and wellbeing (and mine) are always my top priority.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and ongoing support. It truly means the world to me 🐾💛

Client Update 🛁🫧
To ensure I can continue providing the best care for your dogs and manage my workload safely, I’ll be making a couple of changes moving forward.

✂️ I’ll now be grooming regular clients only, with dogs booked on a 4–6 week schedule. This helps keep coats comfortable, stress-free, and easier on both your dog and my body.

⏰ Please note there will be a late pick-up surcharge for dogs collected more than 10 minutes after their appointment finish time.

🌡 Extreme Heat This Week – Grooming Appointments 🌡

With the forecast showing extreme heat over the coming days, the safety and comfort of the dogs in my care is always my top priority.

Due to the high temperatures — and while I continue to work within my physical limits some appointments may need to be adjusted, moved to cooler times, or rescheduled if necessary. This is to ensure both the dogs and I stay safe and comfortable.

If any changes are needed, I’ll be in touch as early as possible. I really appreciate everyone’s understanding — hot weather can be tough on our dogs, and I’d rather be cautious than risk their wellbeing. 💛🐕
