Dennis the Menace 🦆
This little fella was found lost and alone on a construction site nearby.

We looked after him for the afternoon and quickly fell in love... even though he was running around making a mess, trying to bust through doors and quacking/yelling at us.

He is now being cared for by a wildlife rescuer, along with other orphan ducklings. Once they have grown a bit more, they will be released into the wild together.
The cutest little blended family 💙

Welcome to the team, Dr Maxine! 🎉

Maxine graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2022, during which time she completed a veterinary student placement with our clinic! Since then, she has worked across GP practices, shelter medicine, and emergency care.

She has an interest in surgery, ophthalmology, and behavioural medicine, and is passionate about palliative care.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find her baking sourdough, making pottery, or hanging out with her three rescue cats. 🐱🐱🐱

We are delighted to welcome her to our team, a full-circle moment from her student placement days with us 💙

🐾 PAW IT FORWARD 🐾

Did your cat’s taste buds change?
Is there a toy your dog doesn’t like or a bed they’ve outgrown?
Perhaps you have pet medical supplies that are no longer needed?
Spring clean revealed a mountain of extra towels and blankets?

We’ve put together a guide on what to do with leftover pet supplies, with a list of organisations that can use these donations to help pets and people in need 💙
