WARNING: SERIOUS CUTENESS AHEAD!

Just a little update from the Gazza Downs Petite Paws nursery… and I think it’s safe to say these tiny babies are absolutely THRIVING!

Our beautiful Stella is being the most incredible Mumma. She is so calm, attentive and loving with her babies, and most importantly, she is feeding them beautifully.

And judging by those little growing bodies… Mumma’s milk bar is definitely OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

The puppies are putting on weight beautifully and growing so quickly already. There is honestly something so special about watching them at this tiny stage — eat, sleep, cuddle into Mum, repeat! Their entire little world right now is warmth, milk and Stella.

I could sit and watch them for hours. Every little stretch, squeak and wriggle makes my heart melt.

For us, raising puppies isn’t just about the day they eventually leave for their new families. It’s about every single day that comes before that — making sure they are loved, handled gently, monitored closely and given the very best start we can possibly give them.

And Stella? Well… I think she deserves a medal.
She is doing an absolutely beautiful job with her little family, and I am so incredibly proud of her.

I’ll keep sharing their journey as they grow, because before we know it those tiny eyes will be opening, those little legs will start finding their feet… and then the real mischief begins!

For now, though, we are soaking up every minute of this precious newborn stage.

THE WAIT IS OVER… STELLA’S THREE TINY MIRACLES HAVE ARRIVED!

After a very long, restless night for our beautiful Stella — and absolutely NO sleep for this very tired puppy grandma . I am so excited to finally share the news…

Stella had her babies early this morning!
And oh my goodness… they are absolutely precious.

1:45am — our first little arrival, a beautiful black girl, weighing 191g

2:40am — along came our teeny tiny ginger girl, weighing just 155g

3:50am — and last but certainly not least, our gorgeous ginger boy, weighing a very healthy 202g

Three perfect little bundles.

Mumma Stella and all three babies are doing extremely well. The puppies are feeding beautifully, snuggled up warm and content, and Stella has once again shown us what an incredible little Mumma she is.

Watching her care for them so naturally is just beautiful. She is attentive, gentle and completely devoted to her babies.

Now for those who have been following Stella’s pregnancy and waiting for this announcement…

A small deposit will be required to secure your chosen puppy, with the remaining balance to be paid before your puppy is collected.

And because I know how hard it is to choose your new family member and then have to WAIT for the day you can finally bring them home, I want their new families to be part of their journey from the very beginning.

Every Friday, new families will receive:

Updated photos and videos of their puppy

Their latest weight and progress

A little update on how they are growing and flourishing

And I am very happy to arrange a FaceTime call on Fridays so you can see your little one, watch them grow and start falling hopelessly in love long before collection day.

These babies will be raised right here with us at Gazza Downs Petite Paws, surrounded by love, handling, cuddles and all the normal sounds and activity of family life.

I am very particular about where my babies go — finding the right forever home will always be more important to me than simply finding a home.

THREE LITTLE BABIES ARE ON THEIR WAY

It’s official — our beautiful Stella is expecting THREE precious puppies, due around 2nd September (although Miss Stella may have her own ideas about the exact date!

We currently have one person on our waiting list, so if you are genuinely interested in welcoming one of these little ones into your family, please send me a private message. Once the puppies arrive and you’ve chosen your baby, a small deposit will secure your puppy.

I’ll be sharing Stella’s pregnancy and puppy updates through Gazza Downs Petite Paws, and I’ll also be adding her news and the litter to RightPaw as a Verified Breeder, as well as listing the puppies through RPBA, where I am a Full Member — Member No. 17387.

Once the babies arrive, I’m also very happy to FaceTime prospective families so you can watch your chosen puppy grow and be part of their little journey until they’re ready for their forever homes.

THE PUPPY COUNTDOWN IS ON!

Our beautiful Stella is off to the vet this Friday for her X-ray, and we should finally find out just how many precious little puppies she is expecting!

She is also having her nails clipped while she is there. I did try using the ultra-quiet nail grinder at home, but she sooked so much that my nerves were completely shot! So, off to the professionals we go—much less stressful for both of us!

Stella is doing so well, although you can definitely tell she is becoming much more tired now. Growing babies is such hard work for our poor little darling. Don’t worry, though—she is being thoroughly pampered and showered with love, cuddles and plenty of rest.

We are also getting her whelping room ready, creating a peaceful and calming little space that she can make her own and feel completely safe when it is time to welcome her babies into the world.

This is all becoming so real and incredibly exciting! I’ll keep you all updated after Friday’s X-ray and let you know how many little bundles of joy we are expecting. Any guesses?

Remember to pop your name down if you would like to go on our wait list. First come first serve. I have two names so far so depending on how many puppies she has, I will let first pick of the litter go to the people I have on my list. I have no doubt they will all be adorable, after all that is how I have ended up with four of these special little fur babies, I find it hard to give them up but my hubby has warned me that I am keeping none - please also remember you will be asked numerous questions but this is only because I want them to go to loving caring homes who will love them as much as I do.

NOTHING LIKE A FRESH HAIRCUT TO MAKE A PREGNANT MUMMA FEEL GOOD!

Well… Stella had a little Mumma Makeover today.

With her babies getting closer to making their grand entrance, I decided it was time to give our gorgeous girl a good groom — and yes, Mumma got the clippers out and did it herself!

Most importantly, that beautiful growing belly has had a good shave so when those tiny babies arrive, they’ll have easy access to the milk bar without getting a mouthful of fur!

Stella was such a good girl through the whole thing, lying there with her gorgeous round belly on display. I swear she knows she’s expecting — she has well and truly embraced her pregnant princess era.

Now she’s trimmed, tidy, comfortable and ready for the next chapter.

There really is nothing like a fresh haircut to make a girl feel fabulous… even when you’re heavily pregnant and your hairdresser happens to be your Mum!

Not long now until we get to meet these precious little Gazza Downs Petite Paws babies.

IT’S OFFICIAL… STELLA IS PREGNANT!

I can finally confirm that our beautiful Stella is definitely expecting!

At her ultrasound we could clearly see THREE precious little puppies wriggling around in there and there may even be more! It’s still a little too early to get an accurate head count, so we won’t know for certain how many babies she is carrying until she has her X-ray about a week before she is due.

Honestly, watching those tiny little babies moving around on the screen was absolutely magical. And then seeing their little hearts beating away… oh my goodness. There is something so special about seeing your fur baby’s babies growing inside her.

Mumma Stella is doing beautifully, and we will be keeping a very close eye on her over the coming weeks. I’ll keep you all updated every step of the way as we count down to puppy day!

And yes… the waiting list has officially started!

One of these precious babies has already been snagged, so if you have been thinking about adding a little Gazza Downs Petite Paws baby to your family, please don’t wait too long.

Puppies will be offered on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to go onto the waiting list, simply send me a private message and I’ll add your name.

There is absolutely no obligation at this stage . I’ll keep everyone on the list updated throughout Stella’s pregnancy, let you know how many puppies we are expecting once we have the X-ray, and of course share all the exciting news when the babies arrive.

These little ones tend to find their families very quickly, so if your heart is already saying “I want one!”, pop your name down ASAP.
