Oh and ..
I now have a new bundle of 'way too much work'!!!!!!
Yep I did that, few weeks ago now. It was a case of 'fell in love online' .. even though I swore I'd NEVER have a puppy!! I only ever adopted adults. But this falling in love online can really happen, just not so much with hoomans! 😅 but I have and I did. Never a replacement- no animal does, replace what we've loved and lost. But, she is gorgeous, just the usual puppy handful x say 50.
And yep you guessed it, she is yet another blonde Groodle! her name is Eddy, named after Edna and Buddy. We'll be out walking from later next week, after her vax's and safe in public places.
I haven't run a doggo group for a few years now, but I'm a member of Doggie Dates .. they are in many locations, C/Coast, Newcastle etc. It's a very safe way to get dogs used to other dogs, and have a great time walking at so many locations. I personally can't wait- to get back into my doggo life again, mixing with like minded doggo lovers. I still have a heavy heart about Bud, he was trying so hard with his injuries before he succumbed to his final illness. BUt he is in heaven, with Edna, and everyone and doing very well. Just knowing he is with Edna, I know he is doing so very well 💕

Bye bye 2023 ...
2023 for me meant having to say goodbye to my precious Buddy. Serena said farewell to her precious Luka, and Josh had to say goodbye to his much beloved Charlie. And of course so many of you have had to say goodbye to your loved one. And even if the year before, it still feels like yesterday doesn't it?! Pics are (1) Luka (Malamute) and (2) Charlie. And my goodness, I just have to say that I loved both of these fur babies so much. I had a very special relationship with both Luka and Charlie, separately. I also believe I have a special friendship with their owners (Serena and Josh). I met Serena back in the doggo group days, and Josh (Charlie) as a client here in Newcastle. And so, moving forward in life, I truly believe we love we've all had for our precious babies will only see us move forward in life in a big way. First we suffer so much anguish and pain, and then we slowly start to recharge and focus. And then soon we will move fwd with our lives, with the strength our babies gave us. And we do that/will do that, because we know that they would only ever want that for us. Their love for us was beyond anything anyone could ever know. They loved our love, yet they always gave so much more. And they never needed a reason to love us, they just did/do. Yet al the while, all the seemingly little things we did for them added up, I have no doubt- and they are eternally grateful for us doing what we believe to be 'the basics' .. yet it was far more for them (meant so much more). It did to us too, yet never wanted them to think it was an effort at any time. Anyhow, that's just how I sum it up. Bud used to smile and laugh at lot, at night, when on the lounge together. He definitely appreciated everything- he truly did, even if I didn't truly realise that in recent times more than ever before.
Anyhow, please share your story, if you've also loved and lost recently. It's not easy, I just know that love and caring about others is what gets us through hey x

A tribute to those who we've lost ..
It's always sad when we hear of others major losses in life.
Since I posted of my loss with Buddy, I've since heard Josh, lost his beautiful Charlie (Long haired Dachshund) in a tragic accident. Josh and Charlie were regular clients of mine, before I relocated. She was stunning and just so beautiful.
And then I had more sad news, Serena and her gorgeous Luka, Luka has now passed too. Just in past week or so. Luka was one of my big crushes in life (yep- it happens) big crushes/infatuation over some animals. I really loved Luka so much. I miss my own boy so much, yet I do acknowledge others pain. And more than that, I just loved these fur babies so much. It is with great sadness, speaking of it. I'm hoping to locate pics of them from my albums- or if Josh and Serena can send to me. I've never been sure of the word 'celebrate' someones life, but I would like to at least acknowledge the massive loss somehow. Sending lots of love to Josh and Serena at this time ❤️

Buddy
It is with a heavy heart .. some very sad news. I've had to say goodbye to Buddy a couple of weeks ago now. He became violently ill, nothing showed up in bloods. Then rushed to emergency hospital by Sat. Bit much to go into at this time, yet at least there is some comfort knowing he is no longer in pain.
This was after the past two months where he had both rear cruciate injuries. Buddy showed such strength/determination to walk again without surgery .. and he was seriously walking so well- it was seemingly a miracle tbh. But unfortunately, this time around, becoming violently ill, struggling to breathe, I had to consent to do the unthinkable. As I say he is no longer in pain. I believe in peace, with my precious Edna there to greet him at Heaven's door 💞
