From struggling to walk to running again. 🐾❤️

Gizmo’s journey was anything but straightforward.

He first came to us with neurological signs and was diagnosed with a Portosystemic shunt, which we began managing medically. But when he later developed severe neck pain and became reluctant to move, further investigation revealed Atlantoaxial Instability — a serious condition affecting the upper cervical spine.

Gizmo needed a specialist intervention and that’s when Dr. stepped in. With careful surgical planning, the help of 3D-printed models and surgical guides, specialist surgery and dedicated physiotherapy, Gizmo began his long road to recovery.

And today? He’s back to running, playing and being Gizmo. 🥹🐶

A huge thank you to Dr. Ellie for her expertise, surgical skill and dedication throughout Gizmo’s treatment. We’re so grateful to have shared his journey with you. ❤️

This is what teamwork in veterinary medicine looks like. 🐾

Did you know a rabbit’s teeth grow continuously throughout its life? 🐰🦷

Without enough hay to naturally wear them down, their teeth can become overgrown, making eating painful and leading to serious dental disease.

Some of the signs to watch for include:
🐰 Eating less or refusing food
🐰 Drooling or a wet chin
🐰 Dropping food while chewing
🐰 Weight loss

The rabbit featured in this reel underwent a corrective dental procedure to help restore comfort and improve quality of life.

Regular veterinary check-ups and a hay-rich diet are key to keeping your rabbit’s teeth healthy.

If you’ve noticed changes in your rabbit’s eating habits, don’t ignore them—rabbits are experts at hiding pain.

Can my pet eat this? 🤔🐾

We’ve all been there—those puppy eyes at the dinner table are hard to resist. But while some human foods make safe treats, others can be harmful or even life-threatening.

That’s why we’ve put together this quick guide to help you know what’s:
✅ Safe to share
⚠️ Best given only occasionally
🚫 Never safe for your pet

When introducing any new food, always start with a small amount and remember that treats should only make up a small part of your pet’s overall diet.

If your pet has eaten something you’re unsure about, don’t wait for symptoms to appear—contact your veterinarian as soon as possible.
