Dubai is part of the desert, and the desert is alive 🐍
Snakes are natural residents of the UAE ecosystem. Seeing one near your home, garden, or garage can happen, but they are not pests and should never be treated as such.
If you encounter a snake:
• Keep a safe distance
• Do not attempt to handle, harass, or kill it
• Ensure a clear escape route (leave gates or doors open)
• Keep children and pets well away
In most cases, snakes will leave on their own, no need for pest control.
Some species in the UAE are venomous, and disturbing them can be dangerous. Still, they play a vital role in the ecosystem and deserve respect and protection. Many are even protected or critically endangered.
If a snake is trapped and cannot safely exit your property, our specialist team can assist with safe, professional removal and transfer to wildlife rescue or government facilities.
Respect wildlife. Protect biodiversity. Keep the UAE safe for everyone. 🌿
