Sometimes, the smallest changes can be worth checking.
This patient came to us after changes in breathing were noticed. To understand what was happening, we performed an endoscopy, which allowed us to take a closer look at the airways.
During the procedure, we identified a mass in the larynx (voice box) and were able to collect samples for further evaluation.
Changes in your pet’s breathing don’t always mean something serious, but they should never be ignored. If you notice that your pet is breathing differently, making unusual sounds, or simply doesn’t seem quite like themselves, a veterinary check-up can help identify the cause and make sure they receive the care they need.
When in doubt, it’s always better to check.
