Lululemon visited after her owner noticed a scratch on her eye following an unexpected fight with another indoor cat. 👁️💙

Dr Angie Madero | VetMD performed a fluorescein eye test to evaluate the injury, and Lululemon was hospitalized for close monitoring and treatment. After 5 days, she was discharged with prescribed eye drops, eye ointment, and pain relief medication to support her continued recovery at home. 🐱

That red lump in your dog’s eye? Don’t ignore it.

It could be Cherry Eye, a condition where the gland of the third eyelid slips out of place, causing a red swelling in the corner of the eye.

Without treatment, it can lead to irritation and long term eye problems.

The good news? It can usually be corrected with surgery that repositions the gland and protects your dog’s eye health. 👁️

If you notice a red swelling in your dog’s eye, book a vet check early. 🐶
