18 years of caring, growing, learning, and making memories together.
This celebration was more than an anniversary, it was a moment to appreciate the incredible people behind Blue Oasis Vet, the journey we’ve shared, and every pet and family who has trusted us along the way.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come, grateful for everyone who made it possible, and even more excited for what comes next.
Here’s to the next chapter.

When the client says, “I ONLY want to see Dr. ___.” 👀🐾
But… the vet is on vacation. 😎🏝️

So naturally, the Blue Oasis Vet team had to improvise. 😂🩺

If you can’t bring the vet back, bring the vet’s face to the clinic! 😂

Dubai summer walks require extra care. Walk your pet during the coolest hours, always check the pavement before stepping out, and carry fresh water for regular breaks. Watch for excessive panting, drooling, weakness or confusion, as these may be signs of heatstroke.

Save this guide and keep your pet safe all summer. For veterinary support in Dubai, contact Blue Oasis Vet on 04 884 8580.

This is your sign to never ignore a lump on your pet. Not every lump is cancerous, but you cannot tell by looking or touching alone. Any new, growing, changing or painful mass should be checked by a veterinarian as early as possible. Early testing can make a real difference. Book a pet lump assessment at Blue Oasis Vet in Dubai.

“If you leave the room, your pet will spend their final moments looking for you.”

That claim has sparked a heated debate online, but is it fair, accurate, or simply adding guilt to an already devastating decision?

In this episode of Tea & Tails, Dr Rachelle shares a veterinarian’s perspective on being present during euthanasia, what pets may experience, and why every family’s situation is different.

We also explore the bigger questions around quality of life, knowing when it is time, preparing for goodbye, and coping with the guilt that can follow.

Watch the full episode on the Modern Vet YouTube channel, search Tea and Tails or link is in bio.

🐾 From barely able to stand… to walking again.

This beautiful Maine C**n came to me in a very critical condition with severe weight loss and weakness. Initial suspicion elsewhere was lymphoma.

After extensive diagnostics including:
* Bloodwork
* Ultrasound
* Cytology
* MRI
* CSF analysis
* Advanced PCR testing

…the final diagnosis was neurological FIP.

Treatment was started immediately, and today he is already walking again and returning to his normal self. 🧡

Cases like this remind us how important proper diagnostics, persistence and early intervention can be. Not every severe case is hopeless — and not every suspected cancer is truly cancer.

POV: Your patient finally starts eating again 🥹🐾

For a veterinary nurse, this small moment can mean everything. Seeing a sick pet regain their appetite is often one of the first encouraging signs of recovery—and a reason worth celebrating.

At Blue Oasis Vet, every little improvement matters. 💙
