Ready for a change? Dr Well Veterinary Clinic is looking for TWO RVNs to join its team in Dubai ☀️

An independent small animal and exotics practice, an interesting caseload and a team where your nursing skills are genuinely valued — plus rather more sunshine than you’re probably used to!

“We want our nursing team to nurse.” 🩺

You’ll join experienced colleagues, with opportunities to develop your interests in anaesthesia, feline nursing, ECC, dentistry and more.

If you’re an RVN with a couple of years’ post-qualification experience and registered with the RCVS or an equivalent professional body, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s on offer?

💷 Tax-free salary equivalent to approximately £36,000–£45,000 per year DOE, including housing allowance
🕒 Full-time, five-day week; no routine overnight shifts
✈️ Visa sponsorship and relocation support
🏡 Help finding suitable short-term accommodation
📚 Generous CPD support, with certificates encouraged
🌴 30 days’ annual leave, inclusive of UAE public holidays

✨ KEVIN IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME ✨

Some of you might remember little Kevin. 🖤🤍

Kevin was found dumped in a car park at just 4 weeks old, tiny, very sick with Giardia and at one point we genuinely weren’t sure he was going to survive.

But Kevin had other ideas. ❤️

Fast forward to now and he is an absolutely thriving, gentle, sweet little kitten who has come such a long way from that poorly baby we first met.

And apparently he’s now a professional model too. 😂📸

The very talented Annette recently needed a kitten for a professional photoshoot for a cat food company, and Kevin got the job! She very kindly let me have these gorgeous images that weren’t being used — and I thought there could be no better opportunity to remind everyone that this handsome little man is still looking for his forever family.

Kevin is particularly bonded with his little friend Sara, and it would be absolutely wonderful if someone fell in love with them both and they could stay together. 🥹❤️ However, this isn’t essential — the most important thing is finding Kevin the right loving home.

After everything this little boy survived in his first few weeks of life, he deserves the most wonderful next chapter.

National Pet Memorial Day 🌈🐾

Today we remember the pets who are no longer beside us, but who remain such a huge part of our lives.

As a veterinary team, we have the privilege of caring for animals throughout their lives — from first vaccinations and new beginnings, through the ordinary days in between, and sometimes, eventually, to that final goodbye.

We see every day that there is no such thing as “just a pet.”

They are family.
They are companions.
They are part of our homes, our routines and our memories.

And although their lives may feel far too short, the love they leave behind lasts a lifetime. ❤️

Today we remember all the much-loved pets we have had the privilege of knowing at Dr Well, and all those who came before them.

We’re very proud to see Dr Sarah featured in Gulf News today, talking about something incredibly close to our hearts at Dr Well Veterinary Clinic — Dubai’s community cats. 🐾💙

The article shines a light on the amazing network of people working tirelessly to care for more than 100 community cats in Al Quoz, and on why organised TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) is such an important part of creating a healthier, more sustainable community cat population.

Recently, our team dedicated a day to the Al Quoz cats and neutered 17 cats — 11 males and 6 females — as well as treating dental disease and other health problems discovered along the way.

As Sarah explains in the article:

“Feeding community cats is compassionate and important, but feeding alone doesn’t control the population.”

It really does take a community. ❤️ From the people feeding every single day, to the volunteers trapping and transporting, the foster homes opening their doors, the veterinary teams providing care and everyone choosing to adopt rather than shop — every part matters.

A huge thank you to Gulf News and Lakshana N Palat for helping raise awareness of the work being done, and most importantly to the incredible people on the ground who refuse to look the other way. 🐈

🐾 Rupert’s 4-week update 🐾

Our tiny boy turned four weeks old on Saturday! He started eating solids last week and used the litter tray for the very first time on Saturday -such a clever little man. 🥹

He may be growing up, but he is still an absolute bottle monster and lets us know very loudly when it’s time for milk! 🍼😂

Today’s weight: 447 g ⚖️



Rupert has officially discovered solids—but don’t be fooled, he is still an absolute bottle monster at heart. 🍼😂

How has this beautiful girl had NOT ONE enquiry? 💔

This is Olive. 🫒🐾

Olive came to us as a tiny kitten with a horrific abdominal injury. She needed surgery, treatment and a lot of TLC — and somehow this little girl just took it all in her stride.

She recovered. She grew. And her personality absolutely blossomed. ❤️

Now Olive is a gorgeous, healthy young cat who is cheeky, cuddly, playful, affectionate and ridiculously good fun.

But here’s the bit we really don’t understand…

Not one person has enquired about adopting or even fostering her. Not one. 😢

So Olive is still living at the veterinary clinic.

Of course we all adore her. She gets cuddles, attention and has the entire team wrapped around her little paw — but a veterinary clinic is not a home.

She deserves a sofa to curl up on.
She deserves toys scattered around a living room.
She deserves someone to greet at the door.
She deserves to be somebody’s cat. 🏡❤️

After everything she fought through, surely her happy ending is out there somewhere?

🙏 Olive urgently needs a foster or, even better, her forever family.
