The Arabian Mau is the UAE's native desert cat. While adapted to hot climates, extreme summer temperatures, dehydration, illness, and lack of shade still put countless community cats at risk every year. �

How everyone can help
💧 Leave fresh water in shaded areas and refill it daily.
🌴 Create safe shade using simple shelters or cardboard boxes covered from direct sun.
🍗 Feed during early morning or after sunset, and remove leftover food to keep the area clean.
🚗 Tap your car hood before driving—cats often shelter under parked vehicles.
🐾 Support sterilization (TNR) and adopt local Arabian Maus whenever possible.
❤️ Report injured or severely dehydrated cats to local rescuers or veterinary clinics immediately. �
