Royal Veterinary Center Expands Services as Sister Branch of Paws & Claws in Al Ain

Al Ain, UAE — We are proud to announce the expansion of veterinary services through the integration of Royal Veterinary Center as a sister branch of Paws & Claws, marking a significant milestone in advancing animal healthcare standards within the region.
The newly expanded facility is among the largest of its kind, offering a comprehensive range of services including boarding, grooming, transportation, home veterinary care, and a fully upgraded animal hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology.
Originally established as a premium boarding, grooming, and veterinary facility, the center features dedicated kennels for both small and large dogs, a spacious cattery, and a specially designed cat activity park focused on enrichment, comfort, and stress reduction.
The upgraded hospital now offers advanced diagnostic and medical capabilities, including:
* Digital radiography (DR system)
* Dental imaging and digital dental X-rays
* High-resolution ultrasound
* Advanced anesthesia systems with integrated ventilation support
* In-house IDEXX and ABAXIS laboratory systems
* Comprehensive diagnostics including biochemistry, hematology, endocrinology, cortisol, thyroid, fructosamine, and SDMA testing
* PCR diagnostics for infectious diseases
* Endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, and rigid endoscopy for avian and exotic species
The facility also supports animal welfare initiatives through dedicated treatment areas for rescue animals, ensuring safer and more controlled patient management. In addition, a specialized boarding and care unit for feline chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients has been introduced to provide continuous monitoring, medication administration, and nutritional support.
Further strengthening its clinical services, the center now includes a registered orthopedic surgeon specializing in fracture management and a visiting ophthalmology specialist, providing advanced eye care services locally.
Future development plans include the launch of a 24/7 emergency and critical care unit, alongside a dedicated round-the-clock TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) station to further support community animal welfare initiatives.
