🤍 ATHENA IS HOME! 🏡🐾

Athena has been through more than any rescue ever should. 🧡

Found on the outskirts of Dubai in a horrific condition, she was fighting for her life alongside Aleef, who sadly didn’t make it. We wish his story could have had a different ending, but we are so grateful that Athena fought through and made it.

Her journey to this moment has been long, long, and far from easy. But sometimes, after all the heartbreak, life finally gives them the happy ending they deserve. 🥹🤍

Today, Athena is home with Belinda and her family right here in the UAE! And the sweetest part? It’s a foster fail! Her foster family fell in love and knew she was meant to stay forever. 🏡🧡

From the streets to a family of her own, Athena’s story is a beautiful reminder that even after the hardest beginnings, happy endings are possible.

Happy forever, sweet Athena. You’ve waited long enough. Now it’s time to be loved, safe, and cherished for the rest of your life. 🐾🤍

Seven years. That's all Tallah ever knew of a kennel. 🤎

No bed to call her own. No one to tell her she was more than useful. She was bred to race, then used for breeding, three times over — before finally being surrendered with nothing left to show for a life that was never really hers.

The day we found her, her eyes told the whole story. Not broken exactly — just hollow, like she'd stopped expecting anything different. Years of tick exposure had left her with Ehrlichia, her teeth were in rough shape, and she flinched at the simplest touch, because gentle hands were something she'd never known.

Her body healed quickly once we got her the care she needed — spayed, vaccinated, treated. Her heart took a lot longer. And getting to witness that slow, quiet healing has honestly been one of the greatest privileges of this work.

Now? Tallah plays. She makes these soft little sounds, like she's talking to her foster mom. She barks at the doorbell, like she's only just realized she's allowed to have a reaction to things. She curls up on the bed at night, presses in close to her foster siblings, and walks right past noise and strangers that would have once sent her into a panic.

She's gentle. Loyal. Endlessly affectionate. Wonderful with dogs, easy with cats, soft and patient with kids. Tallah is everything a family could ask for — and somehow, she's still waiting for one to ask for her.

She spent her whole life giving to others. It's time she finally gets a life that's just hers.

Good morning from Mishmish. 🐾☀️

A few weeks ago, this boy was still finding his footing. Now? This is his morning, every morning — wagging tail, pure joy, and the kind of relaxed body language that tells you everything about how safe he feels.

Mishmish is great with cats, expected to be medium-sized, and incredibly smart — the kind of dog who picks things up fast and gives his love even faster.

Watching him blossom like this is exactly why we do what we do.

Update on puppy Orion. 🐾🤍

He's currently on an adoption trial here in the UAE, and things are going really well! Orion is settling in beautifully, showing just how easy and lovable he truly is.

Sahem has been waiting since May 2024.

He was found abandoned on a busy street in a remote town outside Abu Dhabi — exhausted, starving and so frightened that it took days to catch him.

We brought him to safety.

But for Sahem, being rescued was only the beginning.

He spent a long time at the lounge without a foster offer. While he waited, the team patiently worked with him, helping him socialise, build confidence and discover that the world could be a safe place.

And slowly, Sahem blossomed in his foster home with Agata.

Today, he is a completely different dog.

He lights up when his leash comes out. He loves walks, sniffing, exploring and taking in everything around him. At home, he is gentle and increasingly relaxed. He is still shy, and sudden movements or noises can startle him — but underneath that uncertainty is the sweetest, kindest boy and is currently in foster care.

He even had someone waiting for him in Germany.

We thought, finally, this was it.

But the adoption had to be cancelled when the family faced a personal crisis.

And Sahem is waiting again.

We don’t want his story to become one of a hound who was rescued, survived, learned to trust… and then spent the rest of his life waiting for someone to choose him.

Sahem doesn’t need saving anymore.

He needs someone to give him the life he has been waiting for.

A quiet, patient home. Someone who understands shy hounds and is willing to let trust develop at his pace. A garden and gentle hound companions would be wonderful, but what matters most is stability, patience and love.

After everything Sahem has endured, isn’t it finally his turn?
