Ad’ham found a short term foster home! 🐾
Since the moment we rescued Ad’ham alongside his pack — Jawaher, Safi’yy, Nashmi, Saba and follower by poor Ramlan— we had a plan for this boy.
He came to us in bad condition and carrying a lot of shyness, but we always believed in him.
The Journey 🖤
We started by placing him in a room with the friendly and gentle Safi’yy, letting him play and bond with calm, kind hounds at his own pace.
Slowly but surely, we began to see small signs of confidence blooming in him.
The next step was The Barking Lot, who allocated a slot for Ad’ham and sponsored his stay under their caring wing.
Their dedicated team worked on his shyness with patience and love, and it made a world of difference for this gentle soul.
Adoption Day ✨
Then came our Adoption Day, hosted yesterday at The Barking Lot — and that’s where everything changed.
Sara & Dre attended and met Ad’ham for the first time. They are already a House of Hounds family, having recently adopted our girl Skaya.
Sara is not just a dog lover — she is a talented, professional dog trainer, and the moment she met Ad’ham, she understood him completely.
Foster Update 🏡
Sara tells us Ad’ham is still shy but improving smoothly, and we are so proud of him. He is gentle, calm, and soft-souled — a truly humble and respectful boy. Skaya is a little jealous of her new houseguest, but Ad’ham being the gentleman he is, quietly gives her all the space she needs.
He is also great on leash, taking his time to sniff and explore everything around him with curiosity and ease.
What’s Next? 🐾
Ad’ham is currently fostered with Sara and Dre for two weeks. This is a huge step for him — it helps us understand him better as a house pet and allows him to continue building his confidence in a home environment.
Once his foster period is complete, we will need another foster family to continue his journey.
Every home he experiences helps him grow and brings him one step closer to finding his forever family.
