🎉 Shah & Fedda are HOME 🎉
Two seniors. One flight. A whole lot of love. 🤍✈️
Shah and Fedda have officially landed in Germany, flying together with the incredible Coco as their flight buddy — someone who has been an unwavering support to House of Hounds time and time again. Thank you, Coco, for getting these two safely to their new life.
And can we just say — these two checked in like royalty. Business class for a senior Saluki duo? They’ve officially arrived, in every sense of the word. 😄🐾
This journey wasn’t a short one, and it took an entire team to get here:
🩺 Dr. AJ and his team at BVC, for their unwavering effort keeping Shah and Fedda in the best possible shape — including the complex surgery that gave Fedda her second chance at walking pain-free.
ae , for sponsoring their special needs stay while Sara worked closely with them on their physio sessions
who has been part of their story since day one — all the way through recovery, right up to the airport, staying by their side until the very last moment
for providing Fedda’s special diet for her sensitive tummy and joint support, along with wet food for Shah to help manage his difficult dental case
, for providing joint supplements for both of them, plus all the yummy chew bones that kept them happily busy during their stay with us
, for fully sponsoring their entire travel operation — every bit of paperwork, ministry vet visits, and the airport run, handled seamlessly from start to finish
And Dr Christina Wolf in Germany — thank you for opening your hearts to two senior souls who deserved nothing less than the world. They have waited so long for exactly this.
Very proud to also mention that House of Hounds covered the full cost of their travel, and there was no adoption fee involved. Because when it comes to giving our seniors their happy ending, cost should never be the reason they don’t get there.
To each of you mentioned here - thank you for the support🧡
From surgery to recovery to a business class flight home — their story is proof that it’s never too late for a happy beginning. 🤍
Welcome home, you two. 🐾✈️
