Let’s enjoy the beauty of our hiking trails together. Bring your doggos along (as long as they’re hiking‑fit) and spend some quality time in nature — all while raising funds for the Dogs of Dogtown.

If your doggo isn’t quite hiking‑fit, no problem at all! Grab some fellow hikers and join us for a fun, relaxed morning soaking up the atmosphere.
Our beautiful Dogtown hiking trail offers 2km, 4km, and 6km options, so you can choose the distance that suits you best.

After your hike, join us for a coffee or a cold drink at our café and take some time to get to know one another. Best of all, we have fully enclosed gardens, so your doggo can enjoy some spacious downtime after the walk.

You’re welcome to hike with the group or head out on your own — whatever you prefer.

Cost:
R100 per person (doggos hike for free!) – includes a free coffee either before or after the hike.

If you plan on bringing your doggo, please note:

🐕Doggos must be on a lead at all times
🐕Doggos must be sterilised and up to date with vaccinations, tick & flea treatment, and deworming
🐕Doggos must be hiking‑fit

The best way to celebrate your birthday is quality time with your dogs in a country setting. That’s exactly what our friend Anne-Marie did with her beautiful fur babies Angel and Diza. She had a lovely braai in our tea garden and got to chill and relax with her babies celebrating the day together with no worries of other dogs bothering her babies.

How did you spend your Saturday morning? Our amazing guests started early on a lovely 4 km sniffari, then proceeded to have some fun in the enrichment park. Finishing off with a great chat with our certified behaviourist.

Nothing like spending some quality time with your dog. They really enjoy their sniffari on our walking trails. Add a nice cappuccino and cup cake for you makes it a great time out for everyone.

Buddy and Laurie enjoying the enrichment garden today. We always make the mistake of thinking we need to guide our dogs on activities. Sometimes it’s great to just let them explore. It’s mesmerising watching them investigate areas. Especially when one dog finds something interesting the other always has to check what it is too. Dogs just love spending quality time with you. Can we all agree these two are adorable. We love meeting your furkids. Whether it’s for a chill in your private tea garden or enjoying the parks and trails. Every time you visit us, you raise funds for shelter dogs.

Please note we have to work on a booking system because, we require information on your dog’s vaccinations and deworming treatments before you visit us, so we can keep our dog spot is safe for all.

We also share staff from BarkingMad so we don’t incur additional costs, so at this stage we only allocate staff to the area if bookings have been made.

We know this is not ideal but as it becomes more popular we can hopefully have someone stationed there permanently.

We are currently applying for our kitchen license, so we can offer yummy lunches but until then we have coffee,teas,cool drinks and snacks for sale in the cafe, along with merchandise and cool dog toys.
