"We absolutely love bettas! They are incredible, hardy fish with so much personality, but that is often misunderstood. Just because they can survive in small spaces doesn’t mean they should.
​Keeping bettas in cups, tiny bowls, or anything less than a proper, filtered tank is not right. They deserve space to swim, explore, and live a healthy, stress-free life. Our goal is to help educate and inform fellow hobbyists so we can provide the best possible care for these amazing fish.

The little ones have grown up so fast.😭🫧
They are now too big to fit in the older ones mouths and will now be given the room to swim around this larger tub without being confined to a net.🫠
With more space they will be able to dart around, build strength and really grow nicely to good sized healthy adults.🐠🐡🐟
Pls let us know if you would like to set up a tank for these beautiful fishies when they are ready or if you have a tank, then think of adding some of these amazing fish!!!🧜‍♂️

Watch as I set up a new tank. This tank won't have any filter as I am doing the Walstad method. 🤔This involves putting a layer of organic grade compost with a sand layer to cap it off and then the plants can feed from the soil and keep the tank going happy. 😁🌱All you need is a light!!!😱🐟🫧

In the net is our newest batch of babies!!!😁😁They are only 2 days old now🙏🙏 We have only black babies in this batch but more colour and shapes really should start showing around 2 months🫠stay tuned for more updates!!!🐟🐠

We have relocated the babies to a bigger tub where they can grow nicely. They are already double the size of a grain of rice and we should have a new batch any day now. More updates coming soon

Say Hello to our newest addition Syndorella!🫧
This is a species of fish known as the Synodotis nigrita. They are on the smaller side of the Synodotis family only getting to an average size of 6-8 inches(15-20cm)😱
