In Loving Memory of David Heyman
David Heyman was a true legend in the world of show jumping, but to those who knew him personally, he was so much more than his achievements in the arena. He was a mentor, a teacher, a guide, and a constant source of wisdom and encouragement.
Thank you, David, for everything that you taught us not only about horses and sport, but about dedication, humility, and love for the horse.Thank you for everything you have meant to me and my family over the past ten years. Your presence shaped our journey in ways that words can never fully capture.
A special thank you for every contribution you made to my daughter’s success. Her confidence, her skill, and her love for show jumping carry your fingerprints, and your influence will always ride beside her.
Not a day has passed where we have not thought of you, where we have not wished you well, and where we have not felt grateful for the role you played in our lives. Today is a very, very sad day in this world, knowing that you are no longer with us here.
Yet we take comfort in imagining you in heaven riding horses, doing what you loved most, free and at peace.
This is not goodbye.
It is only until we see you again.
You will forever be remembered, respected, and deeply missed.
