If your couch, car, and clothes are covered in dog hair, spring de-shedding is about to make it worse.

Unless you get ahead of it.

A professional de-shedding treatment removes the loose undercoat that your dog is about to drop everywhere. We are talking handfuls of fur that would otherwise end up on every surface in your home.

Breeds that benefit most from spring de-shedding:
- Labradors and Golden Retrievers
- German Shepherds and Huskies
- Border Collies
- Jack Russells (yes, they shed more than you think)
- Any double-coated breed

One de-shedding session can reduce household shedding by up to 80%.

Your furniture will thank you.

September is almost here, and with it comes warmer weather, longer days, and increased parasite activity on the KZN coast.

Spring grooming is not just about looking good for the new season. It is about preparing your dog for what is coming:

- Shedding the winter coat to prevent overheating
- Removing dead undercoat that traps heat and moisture
- Checking for ticks that become more active as temperatures rise
- Treating any skin issues that developed over winter
- Getting nails trimmed after a less active winter

A spring groom sets your dog up for a comfortable, healthy summer.

Book your dog's spring groom now before our September calendar fills up.

We are not a franchise. We are not a chain. We are a local business serving the community we live in.

From Hibberdene to Ramsgate, we know these roads, these neighbourhoods, and these dogs. Many of our clients are regulars who we have groomed for years. We know their dogs by name and their dogs know our van by sound.

That is what local means. It means your dog is not a transaction. They are part of our community.

Supporting BarkMobile means supporting a local South Coast business that genuinely cares about the dogs in this area.

Thank you for trusting us with your fur babies.

BarkMobile operates Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 3pm across the KZN South Coast.

We want to hear from you!

What does your dog think about bath time? Tell us in the comments:

A) Loves it. Jumps right in.
B) Tolerates it. Gives you the side-eye the whole time.
C) Runs and hides the moment they hear the word "bath."
D) Tries to drink the bath water.

We have seen them all! Drop your answer below and tag a fellow dog owner who knows the struggle.

(And if your answer is C, BarkMobile might be the solution. A familiar environment and a patient groomer can change everything.)

We groom dogs. But the real reward is the owner's face when they see their pup afterwards.

The smile when they see their scruffy dog looking fresh and fluffy. The relief when we tell them their dog's skin looks healthy. The gratitude when their anxious dog actually enjoyed the groom.

That is why we chose mobile grooming. We get to see that moment every time, right at your front door.

We are not just a grooming service. We are part of your dog's care team. We remember their name, their temperament, their favourite spot to be scratched, and the way they wag when they see our van pull up.

That is the BarkMobile experience.

Join our growing family of happy dogs and happy owners on the South Coast.

There is nothing quite like a before-and-after grooming photo.

The matted, scruffy dog that walks in looking tired and uncomfortable. The same dog an hour later: fluffy, clean, bright-eyed, and prancing around like a puppy again.

It is not just cosmetic. After a good groom, dogs:
- Move more freely without matted fur pulling on their skin
- Scratch less because irritants have been removed
- Sleep better because they are comfortable
- Seem happier because they feel better

We see it every single day. The transformation is not just in how they look. It is in how they carry themselves.

Want to see your dog's transformation?
