🌧️🐾 Today, the weather had other plans, but instead of cancelling flyball, we decided to make the most of it! 💙We got the dogs together for a relaxed session of strolling up and down the fields and simply enjoying each other’s company. 🐶☔

Because flyball isn’t just about running fast, catching balls and racing against the clock! ⚡Our dogs need to learn to work alongside one another, and that takes more than just training on the course. Sometimes, the most valuable lessons happen when we slow things down and let them simply be dogs together. 🐾

And let’s not forget the humans! 😉 Building friendships, sharing a few laughs and enjoying the dogs without the pressure of training is all part of what makes our flyball community so special.

So, no fast runs today, but plenty of socialising and quality time together. ❤️

If you think flyball may be the sport for you, email us at [email protected] or visit www.capeprovincedogclub.co.za. We practice at 10am on a Saturday.Cost R400 a term.

It's thanks to every one of you who sign up for classes at our club, that we can still support our local Meals on Wheels as we have for the last 30 years. There's nothing more rewarding than sharing your life with a pet - so we try our best to make pet ownership affordable for as many people as possible.

🐾 Flyball had fun as usual today! 🐾

Today we switched things up and trained on a different part of the field — and honestly, that turned out to be a pretty great training opportunity! 💙

Running from different directions and on different parts of the field is fantastic practice for competitions, where things aren’t always exactly the same. It helps the dogs learn to adapt, focus and just roll with whatever comes their way. 🔄🐶

Different field, different direction, same enthusiasm… and plenty of happy dogs! 😍🐾
