To end our year off, we did a new thing a few weeks back called "Barn Hunting." We entered two of our older girls, Kenya, 9 years old (Italian Greyhound x Minpin), and Fallon, 8 years old (Malinois). We thought it would be a nice sport for them to participate in as it's low-pressure and they get to do what they love the most, which is using their noses to locate scent. Both our girls did really, really well and placed in their respective categories. It's not something we really trained much for; we probably spent around a week training, but our foundations are strong, so all of that hard work paid off.
