We need to be very honest and very clear.

𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝟯 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀’ 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟰 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱

Our older puppies and adult dogs are covered, but the youngest, most vulnerable pups are at risk.

At the moment, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝘂𝗽𝗽𝘆.These pups cannot be switched to adult food or other puppy food brands — their little bodies need the right nutrition to grow, survive, and stay healthy and changing food can cause huge gastro.

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟯 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘆.

These puppies rely on us for everything. They cannot wait, and they do not understand shortages or delays. This is why we are reaching out now, before it becomes a crisis.

🐾 I’m Bokkie… and this is my story. 🐾

My life hasn’t always been this happy.

I lived in the bush with nobody to protect me, love me or make sure I was safe. I wasn’t alone, though—I had my precious babies depending on me. No matter how frightened, hungry or tired I felt, I looked after them. I was their mommy, and they were all I had. 💔

Then Place a Pup found us and changed our lives.

Today, I run freely around the plot with the biggest smile on my face. I play, make friends and finally know what it feels like to be safe. I’m incredibly happy here—but it still isn’t the same as having a family of my very own.

I’m an active, playful and friendly girl with lots of energy and even more love to give! I adore other dogs, love meeting people and could play all day. I would be the perfect companion for an active family with children who want a happy, fun-loving best friend to share their adventures with. 🐶❤️

I survived the bush. I protected my babies. Now I’m ready for someone to choose me.

Hugo is a gorgeous 2-year-old male wire-haired terrier whose world was suddenly turned upside down.

When his family received refugee status in America, they packed up and left—but Hugo was left behind at the house, completely alone. He didn’t understand why his family had disappeared or why they never came back for him. 😢

Despite everything, Hugo is still a loving boy with so much hope in his heart. He deserves a family who will show him that love is forever and that he will never be abandoned again.

He needs to be paired with a female.
