The most commonly asked question we have heard from customers is “Why should I feed my dog cooked food?”. It’s a good question, and we are always happy to answer it.
There are three types of dog food available in the market: pellets/kibble, raw food, and cooked/fresh food. Each of these foods come in various shapes, forms, and brands, and have their respective pros and cons.
The American Kennel Club (AKC) explains the differences between these in detail and talks about the best type of food for your dog. In short, if you don’t want to read the article, the pros of cooked dog food are a very long list. This includes:
- Promoting healthy hearts
- Increasing energy levels
- Makes coats shiny and healthy
- Improves breath
- Improves eyesight
- Ideal for sensitive stomachs
You might be asking, “Well, why isn’t everyone making cooked dog food? It’s clearly good for my dog, so why is no one doing it?” The answer is simply that it takes a lot of work and time. Cooking raw meat and formulating recipes is not easy work.
That’s where Bean’s Bites comes into the picture. We have consulted various vets and done hours of research to formulate our recipes for our meals. You don’t need to worry about the work that goes into preparing the food, that’s our job. Simply place your order and feed it to your fur-friend.
