Today we planted these seedlings - 2 x Violas, 2 x Dianthus, 2 x Lettuce, 2 x Marog, 2 x Parsley & 2 x Thyme - they were seedlings from the same tray, all planted in straight potting soil - half were planted in a 2% mix of Volcanic Rock Dust & potting soil; the other half were planted in potting soil with some bonemeal. The Volcanic Rock Dust doesn't burn at all ! & is a slow-release natural & organic soil & plant food, it takes about 2 weeks to see results ............................................................................................................................
These were the results in July, the Volcanic Rock Dust often works more slowly when the weather is cold / winter but even so our results were so good. The lettuce unfortunately sadly demised as our dog thought they would be fun to chew - and now in Oct I have planted out most of the plants, the little violas and the marog without Rock Dust gave up a little while ago, the marog with Rock Dust has taken over the veg patch! .....I will add the photos.
