It’s been a week full of garden play , doggy ice cream , chilled watermelons, water play and all round fun
A huge thank you to all my lovely clients who have worked from home to keep pups and dogs cool ( I’ll look forward to seeing you all next week ) a huge thank you to the rest of you who have provided hoses , freezers for treats and the ability to have garden play in a shaded area , for keeping your homes shaded and fans popped on full such amazing team work ❤️❤️❤️

🌞🐾 HOT WEATHER DOGGY UPDATE! 🐾🌞

This week is set to be a scorcher! With temperatures expected to be extremely high, and even reaching around 25°C from as early as 7am, it simply isn’t safe to take our dogs out for walks.

🐶❤️ For the safety and wellbeing of all my furry friends, all walks will be replaced with supervised garden play sessions this week.

Don’t worry—we’re still going to have LOTS of fun! 🎾💦

🍦 Puppy ice creams
🧊 Frozen treats (I’ll bring some if you don’t have any)
💦 Water games and cooling-off sessions
🐕 Plenty of enrichment, play, cuddles and tail-wagging fun!

To help keep your pups comfortable, please make sure:

✅ Your hose is accessible if you have artificial grass (to help keep it cool)
✅ There are frozen treats available in the freezer (or I’ll bring some along!)
✅ Curtains/blinds are closed in kitchens and dog areas to reduce heat entering the house
✅ Plenty of fresh water is available

While we all love our walks, the risk of heatstroke and burnt paws is simply too high this week. Your dogs’ safety always comes first.

A little paws for thought
We don’t just work with dogs , it’s not just a dog walk or a training session or a pet sit , it’s so much more
It’s a friendship , a special bond , trust , company , that feeling of harmony , I don’t just turn up I show up , we don’t just walk , we communicate we have our own special language , it’s not just pop the lead on , it’s about understanding what they need on that day from cuddles to cooling off in the forest
Everyday is different , it’s about noticing the little differences and letting you know
I don’t just dog walk
I don’t just dog train
I form a bond with your fur baby so I can turn up everyday knowing what needs to be done
Your fur babies are my family to , I’m their happiness while your at work , I am truly blessed to have the responsibility you give me , some of you have been with my from the start , some of you are new , this is not just a dog walk or a training session this is so much more
