Sad news - our Captain “Underpants” Rocket passed away at the South African Jockey Academy today - remembering his courageous story today see link ⬇️

We recently said goodbye to our much loved Academy horse, Captain Rocket, better known as No. 3.

Captain Rocket spent three years as part of the Academy family and, with his gentle nature, helped teach many of our riders how to ride and go through the starting stalls.

He loved his treats and carrots, probably more than any other horse at the Academy and especially a good ear rub.

Captain Rocket will be fondly remembered by all who knew him🐴
