✨SANESA Q4 Results - Courage, Speed & Smiles!✨
What a day it was for our two little riders and their amazing ponies at Eaton Farm! 🐴💛
✨Suné & Madonna✨
Our day started with Suné and Madonna in their first 40cm class. Unfortunately, Suné decided she needed a slightly closer look at the arena surface after jump number 3 and parted ways with Madonna for a moment.
Luckily, it wasn't a bad fall and our brave little rider was quickly back on her feet. Despite being told to let Madonna go, Suné was absolutely determined to keep hold of her pony! While we do teach our riders to let go if there is a risk of being dragged, there was no convincing Suné that Madonna was going anywhere without her. The determination on this little girl is something special.
To make things even tougher, Suné hadn't been able to ride as much as she normally would before a show because she had been sick during the week. You could still hear that she wasn't quite 100%, but that certainly didn't stop her.
After a few hugs, some encouraging talks and a little confidence boost, Suné headed back into the ring for her second class. Yes, she was nervous, but she put that aside and rode an absolutely beautiful clear round, earning herself a very well-deserved 🥉 3rd place!
We are incredibly proud of this little rider. The amount of hard work she puts in, her determination to keep improving and the courage she showed after her fall made us all smile. Watching her grow into the rider she is becoming is such a privilege and we truly believe she has a very special future ahead of her. ✨
⚡Dominique & Giggles⚡
This was Giggles' very first time competing at Eaton Farm and honestly, you would never have known it. She marched into the arena as if she had been there a hundred times before, completely unfazed by everything around her.
In their first 70cm class, Dominique and Giggles had an unfortunate duck-out at the second jump of the combination due to rider error. Despite that, they had a fantastic round, covering the ground at their usual "Giggles speed" and crossing the finish line with a massive smile on Dominique's face. They finished in a fantastic 8th place! 🌟
Then came the second class...
At this point, we are fairly convinced that Dominique and Giggles have made it their personal mission to keep all of us standing at the side of the ring in a constant state of panic. 🤣
Giggles was feeling particularly speedy and got a little strong during the round. Somewhere along the course Dominique managed to lose BOTH stirrups, while Giggles briefly considered whether jumping out of the arena might be a fun new challenge. Thankfully, Dominique convinced her otherwise and carried on like a superstar - still stirrupless and travelling at what felt like warp speed! 🚀
The result? A brilliant clear round and an impressive 🏅 5th place finish!
These two have grown so much together over the past season. Their partnership and confidence continue to improve with every outing and we cannot wait to see where this journey takes them next. Watching them learn and grow together has been such a pleasure.
We are so incredibly proud of both of our girls and their ponies. The courage, determination, sportsmanship and smiles they showed throughout the day is exactly why we do this!!.
