Working with horses can invite us to ask questions of ourselves:
What am I communicating?
What happens if I slow down?
Become clearer?
Change my expectations?
Try a different approach?
In equine-assisted experiences, there isn’t necessarily a “right” way to complete the task. The value often lies in noticing what happens, reflecting on it, and having the confidence to try something different.
And then something interesting can happen.
When the human changes, the interaction may change too.
That experience can build confidence — not because everything suddenly becomes easy, but because we discover that we have choices, can adapt, and can influence what happens next.
💙 Sometimes the lesson isn’t about changing the horse. It’s about discovering what we can change in ourselves.
