🐾A sanctuary, a lifeline for animals in need

It started as a suggestion last year, thick bush, loads of work, but the possibility of a place for adult rescue dogs to have space to run, play, heal, and be happy while they waited to be adopted. A place where volunteers could come and work with the dogs, where people could come and meet them, and adopt them. Where SAFE had a home, and so did our rescues. Thanks to a partnership with Mich and Yvonne's Kennels, and our first donation towards the sanctuary from a bequest from Kim Hall, we broke ground at the end of January.

Since then, we received 2 more donations which has allowed us to.
✅Clear a lot of the ground
✅Put in 5 Wendy houses
✅Fence 5 enclosures
✅Begin all the painting, shade cloth, lighting, water systems, stairs and pathways.
✅4 out 5 of the new enclosures have dogs in them already, loving their space.

We have almost completed half of the work, but
👉We have 5 more enclosures to put in
👉The visitor section to do
👉And the general garden area for the kennel dogs to each get a turn to run and play in to do.

Shaun, myself and 3 dedicated employed labor have been doing the bulk of the work ourselves as quotes by companies were cost prohibitive. We are determined to see this lifeline for animals in need become a reality. Can you please help make this happen with us.

CAN YOU HELP US CLEAR OUR VET BILLS?
Please we know we keep putting out the same post - we are just not getting enough support to clear our vet bills. They are due NOW. We are literally begging our followers - with over 8 000 on the page, R100 each will wipe out our vet bills and allow us to save more animals in desperate need of veterinary care - at the moment we have to say no till we clear what we owe.
