Iconic Stud

Kammo Samwell at 9 years of age.

Being a direct son of Groenberg Rambo, Samwell has consistently displayed traits that only time can truly validate.

At 9 years old, this boy still carries the appearance, movement and presence of a much younger dog looking and moving like a 2 year old. That kind of longevity is exactly what we want to preserve in our Boerboels.

Samwell has been added to the Iconic Boerboels breeding programme with two key objectives, longevity and temperament.

A Boerboel should not only be physically impressive. It should have the temperament, stability and confidence to back up its presence.

Our goal at Iconic Boerboels is to preserve and breed towards the original purpose of the Boerboel a functional farm dog, built not only for physical ability, but also for sound temperament, longevity and real world functionality.

Breed for purpose. Preserve the legacy. Build for generations.

BBS Sky stands as a reminder of what the true Boerboel was bred to be calm, observant, and naturally in tune with the farm environment. A steady guardian of livestock, a confident presence without unnecessary aggression, and a dog that thinks before it acts.

A proud descendant of Elevation Ben and Mes Leila, Sky carries forward the genetics of balance, working instinct, and authentic Boerboel character.

At Iconic Stud, our mission remains clear: to preserve and breed the real farm Boerboel one that lives its purpose daily. While we continue to align with SABBS breed standards, our deeper focus is on restoring functional temperament, working ability, and true farm instinct.

Because a Boerboel should not only look the part… it must live the part.

A temperament we once took for granted… now becoming rare.

The true Boerboel was never just about size or appearance it was bred for the farm. A calm mind, steady nerve, natural stock awareness, and an unshakable loyalty to its people and territory. A thinking guardian. A balanced protector.

At Iconic Stud, our focus is clear: preserving and breeding the real farm Boerboel a dog that can live, work, and thrive in its original purpose.

While we remain aligned with SABBS breed standards, our priority goes beyond the show ring. We are committed to restoring the Boerboel’s functional temperament, working ability, and authentic farm character.

Because a Boerboel should not only look the part… it must live the part.
