Welcome Home, Baby Cat!
Meet this incredibly handsome boy, Baby Cat. ❤️
Baby Cat went missing from his home on 28 June 2026, after doing something completely out of character. In the three years he had lived with his family and at home, he had never once ventured off the property. But on that particular evening, he managed to scale one of the trees in the garden and suddenly found himself in unfamiliar territory.
His worried mom contacted us on 29 June 2026 to help locate her precious boy.
On Tuesday, 30 June, we connected with Baby Cat. During the session, he came through as being very close to home but feeling frightened and overwhelmed by all the unfamiliar sights and sounds around him. He admitted he’d gotten himself into a bit of a pickle and wasn’t quite sure how to get himself back.
We encouraged Baby Cat to be brave, to follow the beams guiding him home, or to make himself visible to a kind person who could contact his mom so she could come and fetch him.
On Wednesday, 1 July, the incredible Pet Trackers SA came out with precious Yuki to assist with scent tracking. Baby Cat’s scent was incredibly strong throughout our tracked area, confirming he had been nearby, but despite everyone’s best efforts, he remained very well hidden.
That evening, we connected with Baby Cat once again, reminding him how deeply loved and desperately missed he was. We encouraged him to trust his instincts, be brave, follow those beams home, or allow someone kind to see him and help reunite him with his family.
Then, during the early hours of Thursday morning, at around 3:00 a.m., Baby Cat did exactly what everyone had been hoping for…He came home. 🏡
He arrived loudly announcing his adventure, as though he had the biggest story in the world to tell. After his grand homecoming, he curled up in the comfort and safety of home and slept like a king for the entire day, making up for all the excitement he’d been through.
Welcome home, handsome boy. We are so incredibly proud of you. Your family never stopped believing, never stopped searching, and neither did everyone working behind the scenes to help bring you home.
There truly is no feeling quite like a reunion. Thank you to Baby Cat’s wonderful family for trusting us, to Chamoni and Yuki for their incredible work on the ground, and to everyone who played a part in this beautiful happy ending.

If you don’t already know Chamoni and Yuki, they truly are an incredible team. We have the privilege of working alongside them on many missing pet cases in and around the Cape Town area, and we are so grateful for the work they do.
Together, we always make such an amazing team. While Chamoni and Yuki track on the ground, following scent trails and searching the physical environment, we track energetically, connecting with the missing pets, understanding their emotional state, receiving landmarks and impressions, and guiding and encouraging them to find their way home or to show themselves to someone who can help. It is such a beautiful opportunity to work alongside them from time to time, with everyone working towards the same goal, bringing these precious animals safely back to the families who love them.
Every successful reunion is a reminder of what can be achieved when compassion, determination, and teamwork come together. 🐾🐾
