A strong masculine head, a thick neck, a tremendous topline, some great depth, a remarkable width and some terrific hindquarters, great disposition and temperament: all in a solid medium frame package. If you had on top of this his star-studded pedigree from both ends and the ease with which he travels on his four legs; what else would one wish for in a beef cattle?

It was love at first sight when we crossed paths at La Rhone Limousins auction in August 2025 and a very disputed contest to lay on our hands on him.

We feel incredibly proud here to have ๐‹๐‘๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ” ๐ƒ๐€๐‹๐‹๐€๐’ as our main herdsire and we hope to see some progeny of this incredible bull drop very soon. It has been quite a journey for this young bull coming of age. He flew no less than 9 600 km from TULBAGH, South Africa ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ, to make it safely here in Cameroon ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฒ back in May. He has adapted seamlessly to his new environment and he is really a testimony of how adaptable the Limousin breed is.

There are few misconceptions prevalent amongst cattle breeders with respect to ๐˜‰๐˜ฐ๐˜ด ๐˜›๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ด or ๐˜‰๐˜ฐ๐˜ด ๐˜›๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ด-influenced breeds' adaptation to more tropical climates. Whilst some of those assertions possess genuine grounds (e.g. higher sensitivity to tick-borne diseases), most are unfounded and are typically down the nature of management those animals are subject to. Good genetics will never trump poor management practices.
