With Miche and Wanda bred, we move forward,hopeful, grateful, and trusting the timing of it all.
Humphrey stepped into his role with confidence, right when we needed him. We don’t always understand the why, but we trust the universe and believe in its timing. 🌙 ☀️
And somewhere in all of this, I hope Frank’s soul finds its way back to us. I’ll be looking for him in these beautiful new lives.

A huge piece of my heart left on January 30th. This loss has been like no other. Frank was so much more than just a dog, especially to those who knew him. He was family. Most days I still can’t believe he’s gone or that I’ll never see him again, never grab that big beautiful face and get all the kisses he loved to give.

He left behind five beautiful puppies and I’m reminded of him every single day. In the way they look at me. The way they walk. The way they breathe. Pieces of him live on right in front of my eyes.

Frank was the guardian of our home and at the same time the most loving soul. He knew when to be tough and protect us, but he was also a gentle giant who loved everyone. I will never forget the day I got him. I truly believed I had more than five years with him.

This summer I had an animal psychic come to the house. She said she sensed someone in the home was sick and that Indy was very worried. Frank came through to her and told her he was tired of doing dog shows. That he was done. I remember thinking how strange that was because I had just been saying I felt like it was time to stop showing him. It felt like validation straight from him.

She also mentioned something about breathing issues. At the time we thought it might have been Indy’s sister Stella, who had known heart problems. Now I can’t help but feel like it was all connected. Like there were signs I didn’t understand yet.

I still ask why. Why him. He didn’t deserve this. But they say a soul leaves when it has completed everything it needed to earth side. When there is nothing left to learn. Maybe this was his time, even if I can’t understand it now. Maybe one day I will.

He was perfect. His soul was the purest of them all. He’s home now. And I will look for him in every puppy I meet, every litter born, every soul that feels familiar. If souls truly choose each other again, I hope he finds his way back to me. 🖤🐾
