🐾 CAT INTAKE NOTICE 🐾

Gagne Homestead And Rescue is not accepting any cats for intake at this time.

Our cat intakes are temporarily closed while we search for a dedicated Cat Coordinator to help oversee and manage this part of our rescue.

Until we are able to fill this important role, we unfortunately cannot accept any new cats or kittens into our care.

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience, and continued support of Gagne Homestead And Rescue. We will provide an update when cat intakes are able to reopen.

Shyla’s Fighting! ❤️🐾

This is the update we’ve been praying for.

We just spoke with Shyla’s vet and even the vet is in shock at how amazing she is doing! After everything this sweet girl has been through, she is showing everyone just how strong she truly is.

Today, Shyla will be sedated so the vets can properly assess her wounds. One wound does need to be sutured, and they’ll take a close look at everything else while she’s under.

Right now, she just needs to get through the sedation, and then, fingers crossed, we can keep moving forward.

We are NOT out of the woods yet, and her veterinary bill is still climbing. We are still desperately looking for donations to help us cover Shyla’s care.

Every dollar, share, and kind message means more than you know.

Please keep those prayers, good vibes, and positive thoughts coming for our girl.

🐾 CAT AND KITTEN FOSTERS NEEDED 🐾

Two of our cats are finishing their stay at Simply4Paws and need a foster home where they can relax and decompress away from the public eye.

We are also looking for more people to join our foster team. Having approved foster applications on hand allows us to respond quickly when cats and kittens need emergency rescue placements. Without available foster homes, we simply cannot bring more animals to safety.

You don’t need a large space—a quiet bedroom or an area away from the busyness of the household where we can set up a tiered kennel or cage can be enough.

Gagné Homestead & Rescue provides the supplies, veterinary care and support—you provide a safe space, patience and love.

Whether you can foster now or would like to be approved for a future emergency, please complete a foster application or send us a message for more information. Even a temporary place to land can make an enormous difference. ❤️
